"As a family we eat at a local pub once a month, sometimes more. The pub we've used countless times in Warnham today lost our custom. They've always taken far more care of their conversations than their customers and we've had enough. The Black Horse is simply brilliant in comparison. Parking, views, food, service, timing, every kindness and concern for accessibility and disability given. Quite frankly the best. Ignore the negative reviews, not a shred of truth in them we think. Loved our time today, we'll be back. Lovely to be looked after like one of the family, by a family run business"

"I already know that the landlord is going to reply by saying that I 'm not welcome back, but it won 't be necessary to blacklist me since we have no intention of returning. We stayed in the campsite and had a very poor stay. When we arrived we were told by the landlord we could not park on the grass our pre booked pitch because it would 'mess up the grass ', even though it wasn 't wet. So we had to park on the road. There are only three tiny shower rooms who 's doors go directly to the outside, and you have to stand on a makeshift wooden crate that all the water splashes onto to dry yourself. They are cold and damp, and the radiators inside aren 't on even in the early spring. The water runs on a meter, so you have to put in the correct amount of 20 pence pieces for how long you want to shower for, and the machine is not reliable at all and sometimes doesn 't register when you put in coins. The pub service was awful, I 'm sorry to say. We were left to decide what we wanted to eat and when the waitress came back to take our orders I was told that what I decided to have when I told her was not even on the menu anymore and the menu was outdated. Eventually I decided on what to eat but nothing on the menu appealed to me. My mum ordered a red pepper and mozzarella burger, but asked if it could be done without the mozzarella, and was told yes as it 's all freshly made. When it arrived it was simply a slice of pepper in a burger bun. For £13.95. Not only that but it also came with mayonnaise in it, even though we expressly requested for it to be vegan to cater for my mum. The waitress who is also the landlady took it back but didn 't seem to understand the phrase 'vegan '. It appears that the landlord, who also manages all of the campsite check ins whilst running a pub all by himself is the chef. We wouldn 't have left a review like this if he was a nice person but you can see just from all of the other reviews how rude a man he is, and although he was friendly when we checked in (after waiting for him to be free from whatever he was doing in the pub), we could sense after a few interactions that he has some underlying anger. Also, please learn how to spell before telling everybody that leaves a review pointing out the flaws in your campsite to go back to school."

"I have visited this restaurant multiple times and my go-to dish is usually the delicious sweet and tangy "huh." However, on my last visit, I decided to try the teriyaki salmon dish. The salmon was well marinated and served with teriyaki vegetables. I will definitely be ordering this dish again in the future. Additionally, I highly recommend trying the dorayaki here, especially the cream cheese and anko flavors."

"Ordered directly through the restaurant, never had food so hot and so quick in my life. I think my use of Uber and just eat days are over. "We often used to get a takeaway from here but I would really resent getting another one. The food is great, no complaints at all, but the customer service can be appalling. ordered our meal at 7pm and was told it wouldn 't be ready until 8pm. So I arrived just after 8pm, to be told it would be another 15 mins. They took my money at this point so I couldn 't escape. The place was full of other customers who were also waiting for their food, only half of whom were wearing masks (despite the 'no mask no entry ' sign, no one asked them to wear a mask or go outside). So, anyway we went and waited outside, (it was cold). After 15 mins I went back in to ask if it was ready...another 10 mins. Eventually I asked if they would bring the food out to us, which they did at 8.40pm 40 mins after they said it would be ready, 1 hour and 40 mins after I ordered. We got a half hearted sorry its late , when personally I thought, at the very least, they should have given us a bag of prawn crackers as way of apology... in fact we didn 't get the fortune cookies they usually include. By the time we got our food, we were incredibly hungry, it was way past the kid 's bedtime and it just kinda ruined the whole thing. Would definitely think twice before ordering from them again."

"Today, I took my elderly mother to this coffee shop. It was very busy, but we didn't mind sitting and enjoying the atmosphere while we waited. After 35 minutes and seeing two other groups who arrived after us get their orders first, I wanted to make sure our order hadn't been forgotten. As I was confirming with the waitress at the checkout that our coffees were still being prepared, the woman making the coffees started yelling at me, accusing me of lying about when we placed our order and claiming I was trying to deceive them. She was clearly stressed and angry, and her behavior was extremely rude. This was unacceptable as I was only checking, not complaining. I won't be bringing my mother back here for coffee again."

"Had a reservation for 8 last Sunday for a birthday lunch. The Olive Branch is a lovely pub, warm and inviting and the staff are attentive and friendly. Most of us decided to go for the Sunday Roast. Unfortunately,we had not seen the size of these before we ordered starters and mains and I think only 1 person managed to eat everything. The portion sizes are big!! That is not a complaint but a compliment, we just struggled when we got to the desserts lol!! All in all the food was lovely. The main courses could've been a little hotter, they were not stone cold just not piping hot but the pub was busy so it's to be expected. We all went away happy and overfed!"

"We were looking for a pub for lunch having visited Leonardslee gardens, and saw the Plough. Getting in to the pub was a bit of a challenge: what appeared to be the main door was locked despite a sign outside saying open. We ended up trying all the doors until we find one that opened. The kitchen was not fully staffed so a limited lunch menu was on offer, but that suited our needs so we were not inconvenienced. Food was served quickly. We sat in the garden but the parasol pole was not well secured so ended up knocking over one of our drinks. The staff were pleasant but signage to the way in, and attention to the parasols have brought down our rating for this property."

"Great staff, very helpful and with a sense of humour. Lamb vindaloo and King prawn vindaloo very nice and not just full of lumps of potato in spicy tomato sauce. Rice wasnt sweaty. Naan really well made so wasn't like eating shoe leather. This was a TA but would definitely go for a sit down next time. Not super cheap but then again not just trays of oil so you do most definitely get what you pay for. Will be going back again as its nice to have proper food than go for something greasy and cheap then regret it the day after. Vegetarian options: Its an Indian restaurant. Dietary restrictions: I would say this was more of a religious dietary requirement. If you have an allergy itd be wise to check in advance regardless because why wouldnt you? Parking: Parking is easy. Car park isnt massive but its not tiny either. Just look on google maps. If the parking is crazy bisy pretty sure you can park at Sainsburys up the road after 8pm for nothing and its a 5 min walk to the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Its a big ground floor plot and while it's not all ramps etc Im pretty sure it can be easily navigated. Didnt check the toilets out though so maybe ring and ask as mobility requirements and mobility aids are varied. So India are really approachable so best just confirm. Manager Barrish ‘doesn’t speak English’. Whilst on the phone to the kebab shop I heard in the background lots of shouting and swearing until the poor boy who answers the phone was ordered to shut the phone down. Cheesy chips and kebabs with two drinks for £27! Driver isn’t on their books either. Don’t waste your time or money. Thrown straight in the bin. Worst experience ever."

"We enjoy dining at this restaurant whenever we are in Horsham. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined yesterday by an extremely rude customer who was disrespectful towards the waitress and even the junior manager. "We have enjoyed some wonderful meals at this restaurant in the past, but our most recent experience has left us hesitant to return. We ordered only one course during a weekday lunch at noon for three people, but had to wait a staggering 90 minutes for our food to arrive. By the time it finally came, we were famished. Unfortunately, some items were missing from our order, and there was no apology for the long wait. When we provided honest feedback upon paying, we were told that the delay was due to a new chef, which was not reassuring. We had to eat quickly as we hadn't anticipated such a lengthy wait and had no time for desserts. This experience was disappointing, especially after enjoying many quick meals at this restaurant in the past. Sadly, we are unlikely to return in the future."

"This wonderful restaurant gives you the well loved classics with a few harder to find and delicious dishes as well that are sure to escape the attention of other outlets of Indian cuisine. What really elevates the food here beyond the familiar and ordinary is the freshness of the ingredients, expert preparation and the lack of excessive ghee and sugar which can so easily characterise the competition. Every dish that we tried was superbly executed, beautifully spiced and absolutely delicious. It is no exaggeration to say that this was one of the best Indian meals I have ever had, (which includes comparisons with previous culinary trips to Chennai), and that this, for sure, is Indian cuisine at its finest. Cinnamon manage to combine the traditional with a more contemporary element in its fresh delivery of flavours which does not at all compromise the favourites that we know and love. My only regret is that I don’t live anywhere near Billingshurst. Well done Cinnamon, fabulous!"

"We keep coming back to The Station because of the friendly staff and the high quality of the food. Shirley is always great and makes time for a quick chat, and she helped us with a small issue with our order today. The steaks are usually the highlight here. Overall, we are loyal customers of the Beefeater chain. However, we were disappointed to see that both the main menu and the lunch menu have been altered in a negative way once again. The menus used to offer a lot of variety, but now there are limitations such as no choice of sauce with the starters and no plain chicken wings. The steaks no longer come with a glaze. We miss the option of a single burger from the main menu, as not everyone wants to order two burgers. Hopefully, they will consider adding a one beef burger choice in the future. Despite these changes, the prices are still reasonable even without loyalty vouchers. We frequent a number of Beefeater restaurants, but if the menu continues to decline and prices increase, our perspective may change in the future."

"this is a loouong overdue review of what is, in our view, the most beautiful intimate place for a high time. we got married here on 4th juni 2015 (together it was overdue.) sarah and their team have treated us from the first encounter with greatest respect and understood what we were looking for. they helped us to arrange the dj, who was excellent, and invited us to a menu sample. Many of my families came out of the land so that the accommodation would be a problem, but tottington manor have 12 nice rooms with suite, all fully furnished and each with an individual style. on the day itself they would not have done enough for us. the ceremony was exactly what we wanted. the guests were greeted and shown to the ceremony room. after the ceremony, the employees were ready to serve our guests kanape and drinks. after a very fast rounding round was our room ready for our meal and what for a meal was it? absolutely stunning eating. all our guests have traveled about eating and said they would find it hard to remember a high-time dinner that would be the same. the chef has used very well for friends with food allergies. the evening was very smooth. we had paul fish for our dj booked and the dancing area was never empty. we loved every minute of our high-time day and look back at him. as we were all at the venue, we were invited to deliver our own cheeses, bread and fruits, and the cook prepared them for us after the festivities. in the morning after we were treated to a beautiful breakfast and that beautifully furnished for post high-time celebrations there are not enough stars to say on this evaluation system what we thought about the venue. absolutely amazing from beginning to end. many thanks sarah and team, they are absolutely awesome!"

My French is very good but to describe my Cheese and Tomato toasty just in the French language was absolutely ridiculous and PRETENTIOUS. The person who took our order had no sense of humour and could not have cared less. Owners of this place please note, the most important asset a company has is its staff and yours looked so overworked.
