"We keep coming back to The Station because of the friendly staff and the high quality of the food. Shirley is always great and makes time for a quick chat, and she helped us with a small issue with our order today. The steaks are usually the highlight here. Overall, we are loyal customers of the Beefeater chain. However, we were disappointed to see that both the main menu and the lunch menu have been altered in a negative way once again. The menus used to offer a lot of variety, but now there are limitations such as no choice of sauce with the starters and no plain chicken wings. The steaks no longer come with a glaze. We miss the option of a single burger from the main menu, as not everyone wants to order two burgers. Hopefully, they will consider adding a one beef burger choice in the future. Despite these changes, the prices are still reasonable even without loyalty vouchers. We frequent a number of Beefeater restaurants, but if the menu continues to decline and prices increase, our perspective may change in the future."

Nice food here, presented very well and the staff are always pleasant and attentive. Never had a bad meal here, lots of choice and a nice atmosphere to sit, relax and enjoy eating the food.

The best breakfast and amazing staff, nothing was too much trouble. Loved the option to have both continental and cooked breakfast and to have it cooked to personal specifications was amazing. Would highly recommend Speisekarte ansehen

I had an excellent breakfast this morning. Claire cooked everything perfectly. There is always a great variety of options to choose from. The latte made by Sophie, Alyshia, and Maddie was delicious. They were a fantastic front of house team.

I had a wonderful lunch at the restaurant, and was able to use my voucher for a free meal which made the experience even more enjoyable. Our waitress, Shirley, was extremely efficient and attentive, especially when I accidentally spilled my chips everywhere.

Ordered vege good got meat Deeply upset If vege or vegan do not trust this place to press the correct button on the till . I had to ask them To check as they didn’t see their mistake until i smelt it if it was meat . Feel sick ! Over 30 years of not eating meat and I nearly did : Apologies given but not for the poor dead animal in my plate Will Not return Avoid !

We have been to the Station Beefeater several times before. We visited today and were very disappointed. My husband had an 8oz fillet steak which was £21.49. he also ordered garlic prawns for an additional cost of £4.99 to his surprise they arrived and there were only two prawns. How can you charge £2.50 per prawn(small) it amounts to a CON on your part. We were grossly overcharged. H e was in fact hungry after eating his meal.

"My mother and I had been following the Masterchef Pro comp ' last year and were really keen to sample some of the winner, Tom Hamblet 's, food. We travelled a 4 hour round trip for the experience. We don 't eat at fine dining restaurants often but we are foodies. Firstly, the setting of the restaurant is very lavish and comfortable with warm low lighting. That said, the dinner experience was a little too dark for my mother so that 's something to think about if you struggle with eyesight and low lighting. The service was friendly, attentive and speedy/efficient. The food: I 'll start with the dessert because that was a real pleasure for us. We both loved the flavours of Tom 's end of series winning dessert so the meal ended on a high (we ordered the Olive Oil sponge with lemon curd). I recommend not ruining your palette with the overly sweet petit four that are placed in front of you following dessert unfortunately ours were more sugar flavoured than any other identifiable flavour. Our starters and mains were very VERY underwhelming. They arrived looking beautiful, neat and tidy but failed to deliver on taste. I had wanted the celeriac themed starter but the waiting staff told me the vegan/veggie starters and mains were created by their head chef and not Tom. That was disappointing as his 3 month residency was the reason we 'd visited the restaurant. We ended up both having the lobster starters after the waiting staff recommended it highly as either a starter or an additional dish to share. The claw meat was minimal and tough and the foam mousse took centre stage on the plate. Whilst the plate had lots of textures to it, we felt it was unbalanced and generally with no 'wow ' to it. We enjoyed the coffee and rye bread with butter and pollen/fennel that came prior to this thought. I ordered the Guinea Fowl as a main after the waiter described it as a gamey, dark and tender meat. I feel like a better description to someone that hasn 't had guinea fowl before would be 'it 's like a chicken breast with a different flavour '. This is what arrived in front of me and I actually found it was quite dry and not dark at all! I would never have ordered anything that resembled chicken breast anyway so I felt ill informed about my choice. I also thought the girolles were overwhelmingly tart. I didn 't enjoy my main. Mum 's Hogget was nice but average for her too. Last comment I 've never in my life paid £6.50 for less than 1.5ltrs mineral water beware! I don 't care how much money you have it 's water!!!"
