"We have had numerous take outs from here and are always fantastic. It's not cheap but quality is excellent and doesn't make you feel sluggish after eating. Our favourite is the set menu £18 pp) as it is huge and contains all of our fave options. Mixed starters; prawn toasts, spring rolls seaweed and chicken satay are delicious and not greasy at all. Next course is crispy duck, plum sauce and mini pancakes. Main course is sweet sour chicken, beef in black bean, stirfry veg and egg fried rice. All cooked to perfection and so much food!"

The restaurant is in need of a refresh and the food was mediocre at best. It seemed like it was canned and lacked freshness, flavor, and quality ingredients.

Staying in Bramber and fancied a meal out from the hotel and checking reviews tried the Bramber Dragon and was not disappointed. Good service and really tasty food at reasonable prices. Would recommend when at Bramber.

Have just collected and eaten, some of our food from Here, and have to say very disappointed. Absolutely no flavour in any of it!. It brings a new meaning to the word bland. So I phoned them and told them what I thought, just as well spoke to the postman!. Will NOT be eating from there again . Speisekarte ansehen

On our many visits to Bramber we always have a meal at The Dragon. It has recently been redecorated and the interior is much better for it.The range of food available is very large and always of high quality. We had a fantastic meal there last week and there was a great atmosphere as the restaurant was nearly full.Staff always friendly and very efficient.

Ordered a takeaway for myself and my 2 daughters for a treat after a tough day. Was told would be 20 minutes, only live in Beeding so turned up on time maybe just before there was no one in the restaurant or picking up a takeaway. When we got the food home it was cold and inedible. We phoned to explain and and were not given a great response. I like to support local businesses but we will not be ordering from here again.

You're expecting a small town like that. Don't Bramber a good Chinese guy, and yet he's here-- nice, not so skilled, not so skilled, did a lot of time about pouring an aperitif because they didn't know Pimm's, young people running this case. Menu with four corridors o.a. Peking duck, Koo Loo Yuk, Tjap Thoy and spring rolls for a 19 pound. Very reasonable because the food tasted like bv in NL, not authentic Chinese but to do good with taste and presentation. Also something other than the real scarlish food. Speisekarte ansehen

We had a takeaway here with friends and not for the first time thoroughly awful ! Most of the food is microwaved and the sauces taste like they come out of a tin .Prawn crackers are always stale and yellow around the edges . Manager now is horrible and rude . Was a different story a few years ago when Adelaide ran it . If you really want good , friendly service and fabulous food go to the Imperial China in Worthing it won’t disappoint for fine dining and excellent takeaway for less money than this sorry dump !

We 've been using the Bramber Dragon since before it was New , a long time then. It has been through peaks and troughs. Last night 's meal was uninspiring; although it was better for less salt and less of that next day taste msg? which is good. But, overall there was a lack of real flavour deep fried chilli beef (no chilli flavour), chicken chow mein, chicken in yellow bean sauce and vegetable spring rolls. The best taste was the prawn crackers good prawn taste. Given the price will think twice before going back.

"My mother and I had been following the Masterchef Pro comp ' last year and were really keen to sample some of the winner, Tom Hamblet 's, food. We travelled a 4 hour round trip for the experience. We don 't eat at fine dining restaurants often but we are foodies. Firstly, the setting of the restaurant is very lavish and comfortable with warm low lighting. That said, the dinner experience was a little too dark for my mother so that 's something to think about if you struggle with eyesight and low lighting. The service was friendly, attentive and speedy/efficient. The food: I 'll start with the dessert because that was a real pleasure for us. We both loved the flavours of Tom 's end of series winning dessert so the meal ended on a high (we ordered the Olive Oil sponge with lemon curd). I recommend not ruining your palette with the overly sweet petit four that are placed in front of you following dessert unfortunately ours were more sugar flavoured than any other identifiable flavour. Our starters and mains were very VERY underwhelming. They arrived looking beautiful, neat and tidy but failed to deliver on taste. I had wanted the celeriac themed starter but the waiting staff told me the vegan/veggie starters and mains were created by their head chef and not Tom. That was disappointing as his 3 month residency was the reason we 'd visited the restaurant. We ended up both having the lobster starters after the waiting staff recommended it highly as either a starter or an additional dish to share. The claw meat was minimal and tough and the foam mousse took centre stage on the plate. Whilst the plate had lots of textures to it, we felt it was unbalanced and generally with no 'wow ' to it. We enjoyed the coffee and rye bread with butter and pollen/fennel that came prior to this thought. I ordered the Guinea Fowl as a main after the waiter described it as a gamey, dark and tender meat. I feel like a better description to someone that hasn 't had guinea fowl before would be 'it 's like a chicken breast with a different flavour '. This is what arrived in front of me and I actually found it was quite dry and not dark at all! I would never have ordered anything that resembled chicken breast anyway so I felt ill informed about my choice. I also thought the girolles were overwhelmingly tart. I didn 't enjoy my main. Mum 's Hogget was nice but average for her too. Last comment I 've never in my life paid £6.50 for less than 1.5ltrs mineral water beware! I don 't care how much money you have it 's water!!!"
