"Came here as we wanted some fresh food that didn’t include tons of bread and chips! We picked the perfect place for that! There was a great selection of different options including vegan wine and desserts. We had the soup and garden box and would...highly recommend this place for a good lunch. We didn’t have it but the vegetable terrine looked incredible. We also had some fresh apple juice which topped off the lunch. Would highly recommend this place for a lunch stop in Le Mans."

"We booked at Le Bistrot on a recommendation and were not disappointed. The charming staff were maybe a bit over-stretched for the number of customers, but that was a minor glitch for a meal that was superb throughout. Great starters included one of aubergine, tomato and mozarella slices, gratineed. The 'brochette du moment' was pork, with a sticky sauce that complemented the meat perfectly. Rounded off with salted caramel mousse.All excellent value, including the wines.Worth a visit, away from the main tourist drag."

"I enjoyed this Indian restaurant a lot. the dishes were of quality and taste. the tables on the outside are pleasant when it is beautiful. The service was a little slow at night when I had dinner but, at their discharge, the restaurant was almost full and I was not disappointed by the dishes, so I did not regret the wait. I'll go back if I come back to the mans."

"Bon, Le Mans, ce n'est pas uniquement les 24 heures, ni le pays des rillettes, ni la Cathédrale en travaux actuellement. Dans ce quartier, allez, imaginez... l'anticyclone darde ses rayons, c'est le soir, il fait bon, une grande place à deux pas de la cathédrale... Nous allons dîner. L'accueil est chaleureux et surtout, les plats sont excellents. Vous êtes pressés ? On ne vous fait pas attendre ! Un mot sur la cuisine, il est rare de trouver des plats aussi originaux et dans des prix abordables. Cerise sur le gâteau : le patron n'hésite pas à venir bavarder avec vous, ce qui est plutôt rare. Comme l'établissement, il est sympa. Bref, le top ! N'hésitez pas à y venir, vous ne serez pas déçus."

"Well, how did the concordia change with the credit of a man I think called pascal. we are at the mans for 3 weeks of work from the Irish and when we stayed here during week 1, the staff of the hotel restaurant was not friendly and had no English to say the least. After changing the hotel last week, we decided to return for another test. Well, week three in the mans, I can't blame the new manager, I think his name is notcal. He was too friendly and responded to the food needs of my friends. Hope that his knowledge of gastronomy and wine does not pass unnoticed. (avis d'origine) well how has the concordia changed with credit to one man i believe called pascal. we are in le mans on 3 weeks work from ireland and when we stayed here in week 1 the hotel restaurant staff were not friendly and had no english to say the least. after changing hotel last week we decided to come back for another try. well week 3 in le mans i cannot fault the new manager i believe his name is pascal. he was overly friendly and accomadated my friends dietary requirements. hopefully his knowlegde of food and wine does not go unnoticed."

"Monday rainy at the mans, 13:45, all the restaurants are closed, and we are hungry. a good surprise (the boss?) affable ready to make good words, warm welcome us . black skewer, and skewer of pig cheeks: very good, the presentation is attractive, the fast and fun service (I have already said), the addition is quite suitable with three glasses of wine. I cracked for a great dessert served in a large verrine: a delight; at the time of the addition a peach mojito with pop horn made house again a delight, help .... my balance !"

"The look itself is very chic and it is conveniently located at place de la Republique so it gives for quite a nice view once inside. I got in and asked to see a menu which obviously was an issue so I just opted for an orange juice. I received a bill for a tea and cappuccino. When I finished my drink I went to the cash register at the bar where one of the waitresses was chatting with a friend. I politely told her in French that I believe that I received the wrong bill. She seemed confused and asked me how come? I pointed to the table at which I sat with only the empty orange juice bottle and my glass and once more explained in French that I only ordered the Orange juice and it was only when I finished drinking and was about to pay that I saw I was being charged for a tea and cappuccino that I didn't order. After a few minutes the same ditsy waitress who served me arrived. She's young and not all together so this job for her can well be a hobby. I explained to her again in French the scenario. She proceeds to add the price of the juice to the bill for the tea and cappuccino and charges me near 10 euros. 10 euros for only an orange juice I asked her in French! Finally after a few minutes she realised the error and just told me 2.85 euro. I still left a nice tip but had I read these reviews on here I would have avoided the place and spared myself the hassle. I will not be returning. I love Le Mans and in fairness there is a plethora of places to eat so this one I don't recommend until they get serious and have a bit more cop-on in their attitude towards clientele. To each his own but this one was not my cup of tea."

"cheaply placed restaurant. the menu was typical of an Indian restaurant. although the restaurant was almost full, the waiting staff took our order quickly and the food came from the kitchen in a reasonable time. one of the appetizers was a wobblebhaji, but that seemed to be a swashing paste, deep fried. not what you usually think as bhaji. the most important courses were warm, instead of hot, and since no food warmers were provided, the dishes quickly cooled down. the most important courses were a little disappointing. the aromen were not particularly strong and were hardly hurried (although this can be for a French palette). the dessert of Indian sweets was excellent and very authentic. I hoped the restaurant would be great and we could enjoy returning. Unfortunately, eating was average and we are unlikely to pay a second visit."

The frame is really nice, employees have a smile. at the level of meals you should not expect great gastronomy but for this place the pleasure will not be found in the plate even if the few dishes offered are perfectly suitable, not the strength of this little guinguette is its setting and its atmosphere. with a beautiful sunlight is the perfect place to relax."

"On m'avait beaucoup parlé de cet établissement comme le remplacement du doner du centre ville du Mans.J'ai commandé une assiette kebab comme habituellement dans les Kebab avec sauce blanche pour les frites. L'attente n'est pas longue. Le plat arrive mais la viande était beaucoup trop cuite. Il m'a semblé que c'est aussi du 100% veau mais trop "grillé". La sauce blanche n'avait pas le goût du fait maison contrairement au doner et les frites étaient aussi trop cuite. J'ai essayé mais la partie Kebab est pas pour moi après j'ai vu qu'ils avaient d'autres choix. Je retournerai peut-être mais pas pour le Kebab"

"After wandering through old Le Mans looking for a place to eat that would satisfy the differing tastes of my two teenagers, we walked on up to the town square and found Le Venezia.Much less posh than the restaurants in the old town, Le Venezia seemed the ideal choice for a quick but good meal after a long day. In addition we had the choice of eating inside or out – we chose the latter.The menu was varied and we all found something to eat – duck, fish (the special), entrecôte and pasta. The order was taken quickly and helpfully by the friendly water and drinks delivered soon after.The food arrived after a short while - all as requested, the duck pink and the entrecôte medium. All agreed the food was tasty and delicious. We didn’t have deserts as the main courses were so filling.All in all, a good meal for a reasonable €75 for four meals with drinks. Definitely worth a return visit if we are ever in Le Mans again.As always with Trip Advisor, it is difficult to rate a restaurant as Good as there is only Average or Very Good. As this was Good veering to Very Good, I have gone for the latter."
