La Bourse - Speisekarte

Busy cafe bar, warm welcome and shown to a good table, lots of windows with views, started in French reduced to English, great waiter, helped us with wine and beer choices, attentive.

Grumpy waiter, who was ok at first but got grumpy during night, food was ok but nothing special. Lots of good competion around, as a walk around will prove. Ok for the price and for quick meal.

We had a lovely meal, fresh and appetising food. Noticed a lot of people wandering round the square came to eat here. Friendly and welcoming staff. Service not the fastest but where is in France and it was nice to sit in the square and watch the world go by. Speisekarte ansehen

Reading previous reviews maybe we were lucky! Service and meal were fine (two courses for 11 euro) and it was nice to sit outside and people-watch. Salade de la bourse was tasty with a little jug of vinaigrette, other mains were fine, as were the desserts. Lots of locals having business lunches.

Lots of bad reviews so felt I needed to add some positivity. Food was very good, tasty and plentiful. I had a house burger which was perfect, and my wife's goats cheese salad was delicious. Service was excellent, and the price was pretty good given it is in the centre of Le Mans! Would recommend and probably come here again!

had a lovely meal over looking the Place de la Republique. friendly staff good beer and good food. watching the world of Le Mans pass by. lots going on in the square but the look of this place appealed to us. will be returning to Le Mans in the future and will return here. larger than it looks this restaurant has a second floor which was busy too. Located on Place design la Re published in Le Mans. We selected this restaurant because the prices were reasonable. Restaurant was nearly empty but we were told we would have to wait 20 minutes, with no explanation. We ordered our dinner, my wife ordered a salad with shrimp. The shrimp was the tiny canned shrimp. My omelet was burned black and the lettuce in my salad was bad with black edges. When I complained, the waiter argued with me, but eventually returned my plate to the kitchen. A few minutes later, I was served the same omelet which had been chopped up. The waiter reluctantly agreed to remove the omelet from my bill when I insisted. Bad food and terrible service. We first tried to eat at this restaurant at 4.00 pm and were told that we could not order food until 7.00 pm. (We tried all around the square and found the same situation so we went to McDonalds, which was extremely busy!) The next day, we had lunch in this restaurant and received very good service, the waitresses were very efficient. We had a very tasty steak and a very tasty burger, both from the specials board, together with two diet cokes for a mere 22 Euros. This was surely one of the best meals AND the cheapest meal we had during our visit to France. The look itself is very chic and it is conveniently located at place de la Republique so it gives for quite a nice view once inside. I got in and asked to see a menu which obviously was an issue so I just opted for an orange juice. I received a bill for a tea and cappuccino. When I finished my drink I went to the cash register at the bar where one of the waitresses was chatting with a friend. I politely told her in French that I believe that I received the wrong bill. She seemed confused and asked me how come?
