"Located in the very heart of the old city, the Comptoir Saint-Michel offers some great food for reasonable prices. We started with a cool and refreshing cold vegetable soup (Gazpacho), then I had some really excellent veal kidneys (rognons de veau), while my wife opted for the Beer Tartar (hand sliced, with salad only instead of fries). The rose wine was fitting nicely, and the friendly family staff made our stay very pleasant. All together an excellent lunch, and good value for money."

"This is a wonderful little restaurant. It belongs to a young couple who are friendly and passionate about fresh ingredients. My husband and I came to breakfast and were very happy. The homemade apricot jam was delicious, the coffee tasty and the fresh orange juice taste. They have a limited menu, which means everything is homemade. Our breakfast was less than 15 euros for two people, so it was a bargain! My only criticism is that the homemade granola was somewhat overcrowded. I recommend this place!"

"Nous étions 6 personnes pour un dîner en famille accompagné de notre fils de 2 ans également.Je dois préciser que ce restaurant n'est pas adapté aux enfants (raffiné et très calme, pas de chaise haute, mais mon fils est plutôt calme, donc comme nous n'avions pas de nounou, nous l'avons emmené).Nous avions réservé par téléphone la veille et avons eu la surprise d'avoir une très grande table dans la pièce du fond spécialement pour nous (avec un bel aquarium que mon fils a adoré !).Le service et l'accueil sont impeccables. L'ensemble du personnel a été au petit soin avec nous. Et je dois dire très chaleureux aussi (dans les restaurants raffiné, je n'aime pas le service "coincé" et froid, ici nous avons l'impression d'être à une belle table d'hôtes).Que dire des plats... je vais me répéter : impeccables. Les St-Jacques étaient fondantes, parfaitement cuites et assaisonnées, les glaces et sorbets aux fruits avaient un parfum exceptionnel...J'ai adoré la carte, car nous avions des choix plutôt classiques comme les gambas ou les St-Jacques, mais aussi des choses originales comme le crumble d'aubergines en dessert.Les quantités sont copieuses (surtout pour les desserts justement).Et la carte des vins... que nous avons surnommé "la Bible"... Pour des cavistes champenois, nous ne pouvions pas rêver mieux !Le choix est énorme et surtout à notre goût puisque nous y retrouvons des champagnes que nous adorons dans de beaux millésimes.Un sommelier médaillé est là pour nous conseiller.Nous avons trouvé les prix tout à fait à la hauteur du standing du restaurant (c'est à dire pas exorbitants !).Nous avions choisi Le Cap Marine sur les conseils de mon père et grâce à TripAdvisor qui semblait noter le service et la cuisine excellents, et nous ne sommes pas déçus.Un merveilleux dîner en famille pour 45€ par personne environ (hors vins et champagne).Merci à toute l'équipe pour ce moment et à bientôt !"

Really beautifully presented food, the burgers are a must I think, my friend has the Bison burger, be careful with the ordering if you don't like rare, his medium was extremely rare. "Llegamos por casualidad a este restaurante después de recorrer las calles del casco histórico de Nancy. Nos apetecía comer algo fuera de la típica cocina de la zona y dimos con este italiano. Nada más verlo por el exterior no nos lo pensamos y entramos.La primera impresión fue fantástica. Vinieron a recibirnos y rápidamente nos dieron mesa.La carta es bastante amplia pues tiene bastantes pizzas, pastas, ensaladas...A pesar de que había posibilidad de elegir menú preferimos elegir dos platos fuera de los menús. Yo pedí una pizza llamada New York y mi pareja pidió una ensalada. Solo puedo decir que todo nos supo buenísimo y más cuando llegamos con hambre.El precio es bastante asequible. No nos pareció caro y más sabiendo que estábamos en un lugar céntrico. El trato fue muy cordial, en todo momento hicieron por entendernos y por hacerse entender. Comento esto porque no hablamos francés y nuestro inglés no es muy bueno. Pero con lo poquito que sabemos y usando el sentido común al final te entienden.Si volvemos a Nancy será un lugar en el que repetiremos.Muy importante el local además de acogedor es muy tranquilo."
