"Start with the negative, it was the first date night in over a year for the wife and I and as we regularly have cinnamon tree as a takeaway but never actually eaten at the restaurant, we decided cinnamon tree was the restaurant of choice for the evening. We are relatively new to the area and was a little surprised to see that the building looked run down and the sign only spelling out cinnamon r on the side. However, stepping inside took the dread away. The decor is minimal but stylish and inviting. Now we arrived when the restaurant had only just opened with a last minute booking, when we arrived there was only 2 people in the entire restaurant so we was astonished that the waiters decided to seat us right next to the pair of girls. Personally if I can see that a couple are coming for a meal I would seat them in a more private area unless there was no option, however there was plenty of option as the restaurant was empty. The next downside was the drinks, the wife had a bacardi and coke and I, a pint of Cobra. The beer was almost ambient temperature and the wife's bacardi tasted slightly off as in the coke was flat and bacardi tasted like it had been sat there a while. Anyway, looking past these issues we felt uneasy as we could hear the girls conversation and felt we could not relax and have our own conversation as they would obviously hear ours. Not a date night feel at all. The food was amazing though, thoroughly enjoyed it, I ate until I was in agony and couldn't fit any more in, I was determined to complete everything even my wife's portion as she felt too uncomfortable to eat having practically been sat on the same table as the only other people in the restaurant. We will return for a date night and ask to be seated in a more private location if the restaurant is quieter, the food is delicious and excellent value for money. We will also continue to get takeaways from this establishment as it is our favourite Indian restaurant in our area by far. Definitely recommend a visit here, but ask for a more private table if you are on date night!"

"A Mix of Delightful Cuisine and Unfortunate Service I recently dined at your Thai restaurant with my parents and partner, and while the food was generally good, there are some aspects of the service that I hope you consider seriously. Starters: The calamari was fresh and crispy, although the platter for 2 felt a bit sparse with only two of each item. Mains: The steamed sea bass was exceptional. The green, red and massaman curries we sampled were good and packed quite a punch, especially the green curry. The fried rice and the late-delivered coconut rice were satisfactory, but what truly stood out was the sincere apology from the chef, who went out of his way to address the oversight. The ambiance of the restaurant was charming, seamlessly blending Thai-inspired decor with the rustic setting of an old English building. The gold bamboo-esque cutlery added a unique touch. However, the dining experience was marred by one particular staff member, presumably in a managerial role. His aggressive and hostile behaviour towards the staff was unsettling. While the wait staff were friendly and professional, this individual's conduct overshadowed the positive aspects of our visit. His actions, including snatching plates out of their hands and hissing at them, created an uncomfortable atmosphere for both patrons and staff. Constructively, I urge a thorough review of this staff member's behaviour, as it significantly impacted an otherwise decent dining experience. Encouraging and supporting the team, rather than undermining them, would undoubtedly contribute to a more enjoyable and harmonious dining atmosphere. In conclusion, we enjoyed the culinary offerings of your establishment, and the sea bass alone is worthy of a return visit. However, addressing the issues with the aggressive staff member is crucial for sustaining a positive reputation and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all patrons."

"So we 've been here a few times and the service and food have always been spot on. However we 've been the last 2 weekends on the trot and unfortunatley the standards have seemed to drop a little. Last weekend went we went, I had gotten the wrong time of our booking but the staff were very accomodating and simply moved the time. (If the staff read this they probably know exactly who 's writing this : . So thank you for that. Now onto the rest of the evening. The drinks orders were taken very quickly and so were the food orders which was great. However, the time that we actually had to wait for the food seemed very long this time compared to others and the resturant wasn 't busy. I think it was us and maybe another 4 tables if that at our time of ordering. The food itself was very good as usual which is the reason we didn 't complain about the waiting time. The desserts that came next which still seemed to take a while for 2 ice creams and a brownie, were lovely. Though I will say that 2 cookies did make my dish just a little to sickly so maybe just one cookie on top would be fine. The service itself wasn 't as great as usual. Both of our servers that came to take our orders were chewing gum! They were not discreet about it and were very clearly chowing down on it while we were ordering which wasn 't very nice to be honest but again the overall was lovely so we didn 't complain. This weekend we went again (yes I got the right time this week : , Again the drinks order was taken quite quickly and they were delivered fairly quickly to. Execpt this weekend we ended up waiting longer for someone to take our food order which was odd. Our servers didn 't even ask if we were ready to order just popped the drinks on the table and walked off. Eventually someone did come back to take the order and this time there was no gum which was great. Again though the wait for the food seemed very excessive with no communication while we were waiting. I think it was probably a good 35-40 minute wait for the food this time. I notice there were 2 tables of 8 went I went to the bathroom and when we left I could hear music in the tent thing outside. If this was causing a longer wait it would have been nice just for someone to pop over and say 'I 'm sorry about the wait we 've got........ '. Anyway back to the food. The food was nice for the most part as usual. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his, the only little issue we had was my mothers fish pie. In all fairness to my mum this sauce was extremely running and didn 't look very nice at all. Anyway so told the server that and as a good person would the lady did ask if there was something she could do about it. So that response was lovely. Now when a lad came to clear the dishes he was lovely (I don 't know if he was new , but he informed us that ice cream came with the child meal and asked what flavour. We told him thinking he was going to take the whole pudding order and he didnt. He made a note then walked off.It wasn 't until they brought that out that they took our order for our puddings. I do want to make a note that the servers did continue to walk in and out of the room but still didn 't communicate with us at all. As an overall experience over the last few times I don 't feel like the service and food have been as good as before but we would still go back. None of this critism it 's purely just feedback which will hopefully help you with keeping your services to a high standard."

"We were visiting a tourist attraction in the area and noted that the Bulls Head did food so we popped in. We ordered two cheese and bacon toasties which came with dirty fries with an additional order for a side salad. We waited 45 minutes and then approached the bar to enquire where our (very basic food was. I was advised that our order was being prepared next and the male staff member said we did warn you on ordering that food was taking 45 minutes . I replied that this had not been conveyed to us (as we would certainly not have continued with the order but found an alternative location for our snack . Satisfied that our food would be arriving immanently I returned to my table. I waited a further 25 minutes and returned to the bar to again, asking where our food was. I was advised that it was literally on it 's way out of the kitchen. So again, I returned to our table and true to his word, the food arrived, but it was NOT what was specified on the menu which had stated dirty fries (topped with bacon and chopped spring . Our fries merely had some sauce drizzled over. This was absolutely the last straw. I returned to the counter with the food and asked to speak with the Manager as I wished to have a refund as the food was not as specified. I duly got out my credit card (original method of payment but was immediately provided with a cash refund. I believe that the staff just wanted to get us out of the premises quickly as it was very obvious that we were far from happy. Luckily we are not local and therefore not likely to be in the area again but needless to say, if we were, we would certainly NOT be making a repeat visit."
