"I came to dinner in this restaurant with my sister during a short stay in Paris and I was very disappointed. The reason for my disappointment is that the card is very little provided. I wanted to taste the gyoza, so I ordered 5 pork and 5 pears (viand and pears) they were really excellent. for the taste, I have nothing to say, they're the best I've ever eaten. to accompany them and as it was very hot, I also wanted to order a salad. The problem is that the card doesn't contain salads. You have a choice of gyoza, ramen or some dishes with rice. My sister had taken pork with rice and she found the dish good but not transcend either. As with heat, I wasn't very, very hungry and I didn't want to eat a hot dish, I thought I was going to take a dessert and that it would be enough. but the restaurant does not offer dessert. I asked for the reason and I was told that the ramen is a consistent dish, a dessert would be too much and that this is not in the Japanese design. I find that the too small variety of this restaurant is a negative point. I'm someone who likes to finish his meal with a dessert so I felt like I didn't finish my dinner. Moreover, having not consumed a very consistent dish, I was not totally satisfied when I was offered the addition. I found that the choice was too small when you are moderately hungry and the salads are appreciated to better hold and when it is very hot out.So I recommend this restaurant for its gyoza and for the welcome that was also pleasant. but I deplore the smallness of the place and especially its lack of variety on the map. personally, I doubt to return there one day despite the excellence of the gyoza. Unless the card gets bigger later."

"PLEASE BE WARNED: Many of the pictures on the website and on trip advisor ARE NOT GENUINE and do not represent what this dive of a restaurant actually looks like. The only reason I can fathom as to how this restaurant has gained any good reviews is purely by accident- This restaurant is situated just across the road from the Michelin star restaurant named "restaurant du palais royal". I can only think any of the reviews higher than 2 star must have been incorrectly posted by customers or the genuine Michelin star restaurant and this restaurant has shamelessly used its similar name to boost its reviews. My wife booked this restaurant after seeing it was a centre of excellence but what a let down it was.We went on a Saturday evening at 8pm and there was one other family at the restaurant. Carol Sinclair- a tired looking woman in crocs and a speedo swimsuit was sat reading her book next to the dirty fish tank and was the only staff member present. How she was going to prepare some of her excellent food whilst waiting on customers I do not know but we never actually ordered to find out.She offered us a free appetizer which was some stale bread with disgusting pate. My wife took one bite and left hers, I wanted to do the same but out of courtesy braved the second mouthful. We ordered drinks- a small beer and a wine then read the menu. The prices were around 25-30 euros for the mains and we knew that there were hundreds of nicer places in Paris where we could enjoy a nice meal for this price so we decided to leave. When we went to pay we were charged 17 euros for a small beer and small wine that my wife didn't even finish it tasted so horrible. We left the restaurant feeling robbed and I hope this review will put you off going because honestly if you go you will regret it! I am not one for leaving bad reviews but I felt I had to in this instance."
