"My partner and I walked a total of four miles to eat at La Plata Steakhouse, and it was worth the trip. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Joe, who was friendly, personable and obviously knows his steaks. The Sirloin steaks that we both had were very tasty and cooked to perfection and the accompanying sides were very good as well. The steaks were some of the best steaks we have eaten in the UK. We will definitely eat here again next time we are in the area. Thanks for looking after us so well Joe."

"Super lovely staff and restaurant. Vegan brunch plate was amazing, as well as the English breakfast sandwich! Vegan hollandaise sauce was to die for. Juices were fresh and delicious Had the carrot cake to finish off and that was great! Didn't look at the whole menu in detail but I think they're full vegan now! Would double check to make sure."

"Came here on a recommendation. However the food was sub-standard. Dishes were too heavily spiced and inedible. Chicken very dry the lamb tough as old boots. The waiting staff kept coming to our table too often and interupting our conversation with too many personal questions. We wanted to catch up as friends not share our life story with the staff. They try too hard to impress and fail miserably. We wont be back anytime soon."

"a little hit and miss. service was friendly, but sloppy, for example, our moms lost, sat us beside a dazzling drunk work party, although it free unpreserved tables far away, ding like this ruined one evening and are just clear. was served by 2 or 3 different waiters and dunes, do not fill my wine glasses without asking before. I had to put a serviette over my glass to stop the overcrowded waiter who gets me drunk. Eat ok, lay nice, but don't think I would go back, the service tries hard, but is a bit klemperian"

"This restaurant delivered a pizza to my house by mistake, the pizza was meant to be for a house, about four doors away from me. I was cooking BBQ food in the garden when there was a knock at the door, which my wife answered. Her son who was working upstairs, has takeaway food delivered at least three time a week. She accepted the delivery, thinking it was for him, she called out to him and he replied that he hadn't ordered anything. She asked me, I said no, of course not. I checked the delivery for signs of where it had come from of where it was supposed to be. There were no indications at all, no phone numbers, no restaurant name, no receipt and no delivery note. I said leave it there, they will come back when the mistake is spotted. 40 minutes went by and there was a knock at the door. A very angry man asking me if we had received a food delivery. He was the person who placed the order. I told him we had and explained what had happened. He calmed down a little, I asked him if he wanted the food, he said no, not now. It was then that I decided to compost the food and recycle the cardboard. 10 minutes later another knock and another angry person, this time from the restaurant. Again I explained what had happened but I got the impression he did not believe me, he walked away shaking his head, I asked him where had he and the food come from. He told me Plenty in Hampton. My initial thoughts were surprise, as I was busy cooking. However later I was angry. Angry that the restaurant gave out my number and angry that I was questioned by the manager/owner or whoever he was. Surely they should have printed a receipt or delivery note and surely giving out my address was very wrong."

"Byron Putney is a fantastic location of the burger chain. I was thoroughly impressed by the quick and friendly service during my visit, and the food was delectable. Personally, when I dine at Byron, I opt for a more unique burger experience by choosing a thin burger without the buns and salad, along with some sweet potato fries and their incredible salads. The quinoa, avocado, and extra toppings, though slightly lacking in seasoning, are always abundant and extremely fresh. The feta and watermelon salad with pickled pink radishes is a delightful burst of flavors. I will definitely be returning soon."

"The restaurant is a favorite...pleasantly treating, lovely atmosphere, top location in the middle of town and good food. but a little snacked with wine in the glasses it wasn’t 15 cl as it should be! it feels a little uncomfortable to point out such things when you get served, but you pay a snack for the wine so why snack? sure you can order a bottle, but it will be a little too much for two people at lunch."

"This was our first time out since the lockdown relaxed and I was so impressed with the restaurant and how they handled the restrictions. Fantastic, easy to read signage was placed in visible areas, the staff was very conscience and we saw individuals constantly cleaning and maintaining standards that I wish I would see in every restaurant we went to. We felt incredibly comfortable and welcomed. While we were not starving, we enjoyed chose a wonderful red from their vast wine list and decided to get a variety of appetizers to tie us over until we arrived home. Each plate was beautifully presented, and each bite was a savory delight! Their homemade bread is to die for! Highly recommend!"

"This is the best Italian restaurant I have ever eaten in outside of Italy . That is quite a statement, coming from a man who will categorically slate any restaurant who offers mediocre Italian food. I am Italian, 61, and live in London. I consider my self a very good cook having learnt in Tuscany and Lazio in the early 80s to mid 90s from old wives, chefs and cooks alike. This restaurant is absolutely fantastic. It not only offers a set taster menu of supreme quality, but has the feel of a real authentic Italian restaurant. The chef Mamoon is from Bangladesh but for me he can be an honorary Italian if he likes. He has learned from a great chef the owner can 't recall his name) but he has learned so well. The paccheri hand made pasta with sausage was the very best pasta I 've ever eaten in a restaurant outside of Italy. Cooked to perfection. The fagioli with pancetta was of supreme quality and he needs to teach me how to cook it. please, please... Any restaurant who offers both Ornellia £100) a bottle or Tignanello £240) per bottle is serious. I cannot afford these wines anymore, but recall drinking them in Italy and they are of exceptional quality. Their house red was excellent and smooth and reasonably priced. They decide what you eat. They ask you if you have any dislikes at the start and then they bring you out an 8 course meal of top notch quality. Antipasti of prosciutto, figs, rugola, asparagus in a lovely cheesy sauce, the amazing fagioli and pancetta, prawns in garlic and tomato, scallops, paccheri pasta with sausage meat and cream, with a grand finale of porchetta with oven potatoes. THIS RESTAURANT IS A TEN! Simona, the manager is lovely, attentive and welcoming. Mimmo the waiter work his socks off and is brilliant front of house. I cannot fault this restaurant. It might be pricy for some at £70 per head plus wine, but it is worth every penny. Will I be going back? 100%! So who is Tony Toast? Well he 's my lifelong friend. It 's not his real name just his alter-ego. We celebrated his 60th last night in this wonderful little restaurant and it was a night we shall all remember! Thank you Boccon di 'vino you are divine! "Went on a Saturday lunch time. It was almost full house in the courtyard and we managed to have a table there. The “today’s special” was introduced to us to consider. The environment is lively and easy. We finally decided to order mussel in white wine, and king prawn in tomato and olive oil as starter. Sirloin steak and linguine with crab meat. The mussel was fresh, and taste just right. The prawn was not as fresh but still acceptable. The linguine was a little bit too al dente to me, and too much chili to me. Otherwise it is a very good dish. The steak itself is good in taste. But medium cooking made the meat a bit too chewy to me. The potato is done nicely. Overall, the food and ambience, and the service was above average."

"I've eaten three times in the last months, every time at 12 o'clock, when they open and tried something else each time. the menu is huge and has pictures so that anyone who is not familiar with Japanese eating knows what they get and let me tell them they get worth for money and lots taste in every dish! They have a lunch menu that is almost a concise version of the main menu and includes free miso soup. the staff is friendly and helpful to check if we are well/neededed. it is a tightly guided ship safe and all reasonable prices. highly recommended!"

"I like this place, It's a small chain of three restaurants. I can't speak for the others but this branch feels more like an independent family run business. On my evening dinner visit, the place was bustling but the waiters didn't seem fazed by the demands made on them from hungry patrons. My order was taken promptly and a wine recommended by the waiter was also added. My food, once served was excellent and the feedback from my wife was that hers was too. The wine as suggested by the waiter delicious and was exactly to my taste. My second visit was for lunch and I went for the set menu that give you a starter and a main, or a main with a drink (beer, house wine or soft drink); very good value at £10.95. I can recommend the Spaghetti with mussels, garlic, chilli, white wine fresh tomato. A glass of the house red complemented it extremely well. I can highly recommend this restaurant and I will be visiting again."

"Is it just me, or should items described as extras on a menu feel like EXTRAS? We paid our first visit to tge Fallow Deer on Good Friday. All the eateries that side of Teddington were rammed full of people, so we were pleased to see some empty tables. We waited to be seated (as the sign requested), but it wasn't happening quickly enough and people kept arriving, so it ended up being a squash and a squeeze by the front door. But that passed soon enough. We were seated were able to order fairly promptly. I had eggs on toast, but also threw caution to the wind and ordered haloumi as an extra. My wife had the Eggs Fallow. These arrived and that's when the sheen was removed from our visit for me. My wife's dish was just fine, but my extra haloumi consisted of a single small slice for which I was charged an extra £2. I basically had a face like a slapped backside for the rest of the stay. Two pounds for a small slice of cheese. (See photo) I should have mentioned my dissatisfaction to them, but I just didn't want to put a downer on the day. Seems childish to be miserable about something so trivial, but hey. I was paying for this, so I'm surely entitled to feel like I was getting a good deal. And this occasion I didn't. So I cheered myself up by burying my face in chocolate when I got home."

"What a lovely restaurant! And for a change one that doesn't have a massive menu that churns out the same food. In fact, the choices you have are not what you would usually have in a run of the mill Indian restaurant. Pork Vindaloo, Chilli Squid, Paneer salad, Goa Fish Curry, Sea Bream. What you get is very well cooked and tastes divine. The service was excellent, and although early days in terms of opening, I have high hopes for Chowka, and will be back for another visit. An excellent addition to Hampton Hill. I wish it all the very best."

"I had an appointment on 18th June for CBD Bamboo massage. I was told at reception that they could not locate my booking but will book me in as they had availability so i told them that i had an appointment with Laura for CBD bamboo massage to which i was told OK. I was told to wait in relaxation room and after few minutes i was greeted by Lorraine and taken to the massage room. I was offered the Bhuti Bliss massage which is a Swedish massage to which i said i have booked CBD bamboo but Lorraine said that is not what is booked on their system. I said that i had definitely booked CBD bamboo to which Lorraine said she will check with reception and come back to me as the bamboo sticks will take time to get ready. After few minutes Lorraine came back and offered me the CBD oil massage to which i said OK reluctantly. The massage was mild with no air conditioning working and there was only a little portable fan which made the room really hot. I did mention about this but i was told the air-conditioning wasn't working. The massage room had a day light coming through which made it difficult to relax. It was not a great experience at all."

"we have eaten in some twickenham’s restaurants and had a few great meals, but I think that must be the best and surely one of the best Japanese restaurants outside central london. service is friendly and the dishes are quickly brought out and made with care. the menu offers not only sushi, but a large selection of authentic starters along with some nudel and bentobox dishes. we decided to order several smaller dishes and a few sushi, so we can taste more of the menu. the otopus legs with seaweed were with those I had in japan, the chicken carage (lightly roasted chicken) was superb and tender, the slightly roasted tofu in broth was tender and tasty and all the sushi dishes were fresh and very good in the did. To round it, the price design for the high quality level will certainly try to return. highly recommended"

"Beginning to get really frustrated with this old favorite. The last few times l've visited l've been really disappointed. It's become a place to hold kids parties and this is only putting off loyal customers from dining. Tonight my partner and arrived at 6:30 hoping to get a table, thankfully we did but not without being told we'd have to give it up by 7:30 to accommodate another party. The only other table occupied in the restaurant was that of a kids party taking up around 20 seats. The noise in there was unbearable. Kids screeching and shouting at one another across the table. l asked the lady serving us if she could switch off the music playing from the speaker above my head to which she just shook her head and waved her hands before leaving the table. The music was not turned off. My partner and I didn't even finish our food we couldn't bear to sit in there any longer. Really not happy with our recent experiences. Something needs to change. You must limit these kids parties, you're driving loyal custom"

"only after the completion of the order on justeat I was informed that it would take about an hour to deliver to twickenham, which was excused rugby night. after an hour and three quarters, a very rude young delivery car had gone to the wrong address! when the food finally arrived, it was the worst set of curry dishes I've ever tried so badly packed that a court looked into another. I don't like to throw away food, but the meal was bland pieces meat in what looked like tinted tomato sauce (with each e number under the sun in it, through the blooming pink color of pieces,) mix of colored rice and bland chicken burnyani only in the name, and teig Bangladesh balls for tandoori nasty brot. the worst fake games"

"Another beautiful evening in The Albany. Sit outside to enjoy the late summer al fresco dining room while we can still pull how the evenings begin. Great and friendly service as always. Big cocktails and a Bang Bang Chicken Burger, followed by a brownie and ice cream. Sheer seliss!"
