"Harbour alive with tourists so a walk up the hill to a quieter area for a beer. Small roadside terrace..nice cool beer. Had a look at the blackboard to see what type of tapas was available...we were intending to eat nearer the citadel. What a surprise. Ordered tortilla with seafood filling, patatas bravas, sea urchin, fois gras with bellota ham, elvers, duck breast as tapas and gambas as a racion. Local girl married to a catalan, extremely helpful and friendly, explained the dishes to four large Scotsmen and they just kept the food coming in proper tapas style along with the drinks. All of the dishes were superb and as good as any I've had all around spain. The "french tapas" with fois gras was genius and the star. The chefs are genuine masters of good tapas, as well as being spanish. Our hostess happily chatted for 10 minutes about the family and their food whilst we paid the bill. 99euros fed four gannets and included four beers coffee and a pichet of rose'. Only recently opened but deserves to do well..we wish them well and will be back as soon as possible! Give this a try. Peter greig"

"We had planned, to close our holiday in Saint Tropez, to enjoy a good restaurant before finishing our evening in the cellars of the roy. a very good time at the rivea, thanks to a quality service. the restaurant is quiet, the decoration is neat. The prices are not exorbitant either (the card available on the internet) and the food is excellent: we feel the passion and the minuty involved in the work of alain ducasse, and it is so much better for our taste buds!seul flat, the pack of cigarettes at 20€. A little excessive, but nothing surprises Saint Tropez.Break, a nice moment on the bank to conclude our stay. Don't hesitate."

"A very nice experience. We were a party of six and had made a last-minute booking. The very helpful staff managed to seat us outside, even though the restaurant was full. The quality of the food was excellent. My wife knows about seafood and she was impressed with the freshness. Squid, prawns, everything tasty and top quality. Prices, considering that we are talking Saint Tropez, are reasonable (about 45€ per person with one bottle of wine). Helpful and efficient staff, which is not a given during high season."

"Fantastic stay at Hotel de Paris! Located at the end of the D-98 highway, and right at the edge of the town, I believe this is the best situated hotel in St Tropez! We did the booking via Amex Fine Hotels, and received all the benefits (early check-in, late check-out, daily breakfast incl credit). 5 days before the checkin, received a call from Guest Services. Maxime kindly took our preferences, check for special occasions, and suggested a surprize cake for my spouses birthday. Well executed, and spouse loved it. Thank you Maxime and guest services. Rooms are small but efficient and nicely appointed. Bright during the day, cool and comfortable at night, we rested well during a very busy 5 days when we were out and about meeting friends, beaching, shopping, and dining. Daily breakfast at the rooftop is a fantastic way to wake up. Get to enjoy the views of the town as well as the Gulf of St Tropez while having breakfast. Special thanks to Raquel for taking excellent care of us. With a large party, staying at different hotels, our friends loved getting cocktails and enjoying the views with us. Cedric is the perfect host and recommends the best cocktails. We simply loved this hotel: location, amenities, and staff were super kind and attentive to us. We will do our best to visit next year, and recommend this hotel to all our friends. We don't say au revoir, we say a bientôt."

"I went to dinner with friends at the second service to enjoy the atmosphere. Prices are in relation to the setting and the proposed atmosphere (to the top). We ate very well. Only flat is the service (difficult it is true with noise and the world) but the waitress was very unpleasant not hesitating to reflect on the number of bottles we consumed (not enough to its taste); She regularly filled our drinks to empty our bottles as soon as possible and bring back new ones ...She was blowing when some didn't want to take dessert,...fine all I hate."

"Client depuis des années, je suis étonné que certains princes et princesses passent devant tout le monde et rentre par la sortie pour faire la bise aux serveurs, à la réceptionniste ou aux responsables et se retrouvent placés avant les autres. Quand je vois la révolution pour placer 2 chiffonnières qui ne vont consommer que 2 cafés et 2 verres d’eau et que nous nous réglons 120. € pour 2 petits déjeuners je reste dubitatif !!! Quand je viens déjeuner et que nous prenons apéritif entrée plat dessert et que je vois certains VIP manger une salade et une carafe d’eau je suis vraiment étonné de la différence de traitement !!!! Je suis commerçant mais ma famille et mes amis ne passent pas avant mes clients !!!! De plus aujourd’hui j’ai entendu les 2 responsables parler du chiffre d’affaires de la veille et des objectifs devant les clients je trouve cela vraiment maladroit, on règle ça avant le service !!!! Un peu de classe svp !"

"We craved Mussels and Fries for lunch and found La Sardine beautifully located at the end of the harbor. After the COVID protocol, we were seated quickly and our server Serena was attentive and efficient. We wanted an appetizer to start so with the name of the restaurant being La Sardine, what better choice than “Les Mini-Sardines ” (translated the pearl of the gods for 16€. The plate arrived quickly however to our surprise, the “pearl of the gods” sardines were served in a 110g tin, like from a supermarket! Wha? Really? Not what we expected. The lunch was saved by two plentiful buckets of mussels (20€ , one in white wine, the other in cream. Very delicious and filling. Fries perfectly crispy. The Plat du Jour was Risotto avec Gambas that looked awesome. Overall our customer service was above average but value for the price was disappointing. Apparently service charge was not included either."

"This was our firstly time here after walking past it for years and boy do I regret that, it was great. Authentic pizzas, thin and crispy with just the right amount of those little burnt edges. A good size for ordering 1 per person or 1 between 2 with a sald or appetizer. Didn't have any of their pastas but everything on the menu sounded great. I ordered their house red wine excellent stuff. What did grab my attention when I ordered my espresso was they grind the beans each time so you get fresh coffee every time, a small detail but alot don't do this."

"We went there for sweets after dinner in the harbour and a stroll in the town. The location is good on the nice Place des Lices. When we arrived, the tables had not been cleaned, and the waiters seemed quite stressed. After a while, a waiter came to take our order, and we asked if they had ice cream and chocolate fondant. We did not see a menu.The chocolate cake was quite good, and the children loved it! Also ice cream and come were ok. When we wanted the bill, the waiter came with the bank terminal and no copy of the bill. He said the price was 54 Euros. I said I wanted to see what we pay for, so he must find a copy of the bill. Then he said the price was 51 Euros. When I asked for a copy for the third time, he was really pissed off, and went to the kitchen for a bill. He came back with it, only with general terms like "Hot drinks" and "desserts", and now the price was 56 Euros!!! Three different prices in three minutes :-)Even though the sweets were quite good, it is not worth being ripped off by amateur staff for 56 Euros for a dessert, not even in Saint-Tropez."

"We traditionally stop there in the family every summer to order a few bottles of rosé and spend the evening playing the petanque on the Place des Lices. I don't dine out of a possible board of cheese and charcuterie that is very correct for the price in the tourist season. So I'm not able to judge their kitchen outside of that. "Su indicazione di una nota guida turistica ci rechiamo al ristorante. Prendiamo due menu a prezzo fisso 32€, uno a base di pollo (Caesar salad, poulet roti e dessert) e uno a base di pesce (zuppa di pesce, risotto e dessert) e due bicchieri di rosé. La Caesar salad era immersa nella salsa yogurt e il pollo era freddo. La zuppa di pesce era immaginabile perché troppo salata. Abbiamo comunicato le nostre impressioni al cameriere che ci aveva chiesto se tutti andasse bene (i piatti erano per metà ancora pieni) . Lo stesso è andato via mentre stavamo ancora comunicando cosa non ci aveva convinto, lasciandoci di sasso e senza la minima considerazione. Consumiamo a malapena i piatti successivi. Quando lo stesso cameriere viene a portar via i piatti ci chiede, quasi predendoci in giro, se "anche i piatti principali non erano di nostro gradimento". Rispondiamo che non rispecchiavano le nostre aspettative. Terminato il dolce, chiediamo il conto e di parlare con il titolare, il quale, dopo una breve spiegazione, decide di detrarre dal conto i due bicchieri di vino (l'unica cosa che avevamo realmente apprezzato). Sconsigliamo vivamente il locale, soprattutto per il servizio, pessimo."

"Catch tourist on the port of St Tropez...!No child menu with reduced portions, Marian mussels where after 3 days we always look for the marten: just mussels cooked with white wine and bad washed in addition! the roux, the onions, the parsley have to disappear from the plate by coming to our table after long minutes. As a result, our daughter did not want to eat it, normal given the taste of white wine they had. the fish was so cooked that the edges were hard and spicy, and it missed the spices in the beef tartar (two caps in the whole tartare as spices...!!!!)Don't leave any tips, the waiter grabs it without sharing with the very nice young woman who places the people and who gets rid of! Thankfully she was there to answer with a smile to our demands. the waiter took 15 minutes to bring us the bottle of water, with a pepet that was very thirsty under the heat and the sun of August. he preferred to chat in the kitchen and wait for the client!. I could continue on the bad luck of this restaurant, a shame because it is well located!"

"An extra star for friendly and friendly staff. Unfortunately, pizza is very disappointing knowing that we went there especially for that.
