"We went to Bel Passi to celebrate a 25th wedding anniversary, we booked as there was 13 of us. We had look over the menu online and all the offers they had. Arrived 26/4/23 on time and were seated. Ordered drinks and food after 20 mins. Menu was a different name, so this must have changed and now not Bel Passi. No offers now on. You need to change your online as your misleading your customers!! Food ordered and we waiting over 45 mins and starters arrived. To say they were okay is pushing it, salad on the side was a bit of lettuce or rocket. I’d rather none than that. No tables cleared until we asked, and then waited an hour for our mains. As a group of 4 had come in and had there starters and mains we decided to check on our mains. We were advised it’s taking a little longer due to 13 people and they want to serve us all together, and it would be another 5 mins. It was only another 5 mins, but not all food served together, some had finished as others were getting there’s. At this point we’ve been here for two hours and just had our mains. The food wasn’t nice, lasagna was bland, spaghetti bolo was terrible, but my husband said his pizza was amazing. One person happy out the group! So a few of us decided to see how long a dessert would take, we were told 5 minutes, ice creams, tiramisu ordered and we did only wait 5 minutes. Great, until I put my spoon into my dessert. It’s frozen. I explained to the waitress that my dessert is frozen, she said yes it’s just out the fridge. So I had to take it to the man behind the bar to explain my dessert is frozen. He apologised, and explained they don’t make them fresh anymore as there was too much waste. So now it’s ordered in frozen and they section portions off and put it under the heat lamp to defrost. Yes you are reading that correct, they use a heat lamp to defrost a tiramisu. I was asked if I’d like another one, to which I refused. It’s been nearly 3 hours and I’m still starving after what was supposed to be a nice meal for a celebration. Waitress was absolutely rubbish, no people skills or service skills and she could do with speaking up so she can be heard. I appreciate we were a big party, but if you can’t handle that don’t take the booking. I wouldn’t tell anyone to go there especially if it’s a bigger group. But my husband wanted to make sure I mentioned his nice pizza!! You seriously need to look over tonight and see how many guests you disappointed. From your still starving customer!!!"

"we had a disappointing experience with a pub lunch, but frankie and benny are prepared for this disappointment. the personal was great. they found us a table for five big adults. they quickly took our drink order and delivered exactly what we ordered, including the special drink request of my father. we shared a meat festival star and a pizza style garlauchbrot. it was just enough to the juices flow for our main courses and tasted fantastic the most important courses were also fab. my sister in law loves her grill sauce. the penny of my mother came out hot. my salat was right, I wanted some extra salat dressing just for the case, but I didn't need it. the Speck double cheeseburger defeated my sister. my dad really enjoyed his ribs when we approached them. puddings were really nice to brownies and chocolate fudge cake for my sister and sister in law. dad had apple cake that comes with both vinegar and ice cream. I had the frightened basket cream, caramel ice cream and banane in a cookie shaped basket. we all agreed that eating was much better than we could have gotten in the pub and the service was absolutely extraordinary. They also brought me a cupcake with a candle so I could fly out. they played stevie wonders happy birthday. I was really touched, and when it came to the bill, my sister in the law loaded the francie and benny app on her phone and we have 50% of our main courses. my father was very satisfied/ I can't stress how good the service was. all the staff members were happy that our meals felt special and I even have a box to bring my cupcake home. I think all our meal times will go there. happier place for us."

"I can se there are many excellent reviews on here about this cafe but we wont be eating here again. We ate here yesterday and although the food was enjoyable I would like to warn customers about the lack of compliance with Covid Rules and basic health and hygiene . The waiting on and kitchen staff failed to wear face masks. Waiting staff served at tables with no face covering at all and we could see that kitchen staff wore either no mask or wore it puled down under the chin leaving nose and mouth uncovered. Most customers failed to wear a mask when moving around the cafe to use the rest room or to go up to the counter to pay. Normally staff in restaurants, pubs and cafes would remind customers to use a mask in these situations but of course this isn't going to happen when the staff themselves aren't wearing them. A spray cleaner was used to clean our table before we were seated but we had to ask for the chairs to be wiped as they had been left with crumbs from an earlier customer. I later saw the waitress cleaning dirty tables outside without using any antibac spray. Probably the worst thing we witnessed during our visit was the waitress dropping some biscuits on the dirty floor and then picking them up and placing them back on the counter. When she thought no-one was watching she then placed them in the container along with the other biscuits for use when she served a hot tea or coffee to the next unsuspecting customer. The biscuits were individually wrapped but I certainly wouldn't want to be served with one after it had been on the dirty floor!"
