"So I am a relatively new convert to noodles. Only ever thought they were slimey and tasteless... or at least they were when I made them! Previously only had them from the 'W ' chain but didn 't really like then a few years ago I was lucky enough to be treated to a dinner at 'Fat Noodle ' in Brisbane. Nice but not worth the ! So today after a week trying to get online to work from home I decided to treat myself for a take-away. Well honestly I couldn 't find much in the fridge. I didn 't want chinese, pizza etc so when I found that Wok Stop delivered I thought that sounds nice. I can 't drive and am S-I alone while my hubby is working away so take-away is my only option. And wow! I had Udon noodles with veg and prawns plus Singapore sauce.. Now I love food although I am not able to eat much at one time, and I love feisty food. Am often disappointed with Singapore sauce from the Chinese, this one did not dissapoint! Wow did it pack a punch even I who loves hot food may have to downgrade next time. And there WILL be a next time! Just a few notes: I got a medium with hope for left-overs but I may have a whole dinner left after getting totally full. Still it will be better than Marmite on toast again for lunch tomorrow. When the menu says hot IT IS!!! The spring rolls were lovely but huge... again one for another day Also had to order some S&P chips to make up my minimum order, but if you have an Acti-fryer have learned that at least chippy chip shop chips re-heat very well in that. So will use them another day. My only issue would be that minimum order is 10 with delivery 4 probably good for a family but not so good for someone home alone at the moment. Still silver lining I had a lovely dinner and enough left-overs to last for a while. I am queen of left-overs. When hubby comes home I will definitely send him down for collection which I believ they are still doing if you get there. Fab! Plus the delivery driver brought it here at least 30 mins before the website said it would be delivered and was properly hot marvellous. Would certainly reccommend"

"Booked a table on line, which was easy enough. Arrived at the Windmill, the lady logged in to find our booking, which took a little while as the app kept logging her out, and it had ‘the longest ever password’ to log in her words not mine. Took our seats, and ordered our drinks via the app. After about 10 mins, the same lady asked if we were ok, we said we were waiting for drinks, she went back to the bar and retrieved our order and brought our drinks to us. Next round of drinks which again were order via the app arrived promptly. Next we ordered our mains. Medium rare 10oz stake, and a lasagna. Food arrived. Lasagna was very good. Not overpowered with tomato or garlic, very tasty. Hubby’s medium rare stake was overcooked making it a bit dry and lacking taste, but he didn’t want to wait for another to be cooked. Not once did anyone check with us how the meal was. During the meal we ordered another round of drinks, and waited patiently. The lack of drinks made a dry steak even less palatable. We finished the meals (well left half the steak) yet still no drinks. After 25 minutes I went to the bar to cancel the drinks and ask for a refund. After tapping many buttons, hey presto the order was located. There was much confusion over how to do a refund, and at one stage it was suggested that we may have to have cash and the staff member sort it later, but eventually it got sorted as a refund to the card. STILL NO ENQUIRY AS TO HOW THE MEALS WERE!!!!!! As much as I enjoyed the lasagna, I don’t think we will visit again. One member of staff was spending more time having a chat with the locals than checking on things. There were a lot of food orders being collected for delivery, I felt that these were being prioritised above the seated diners. I wish I could say the pub was busy, but it really wasn’t so there was no excuse."

"If I could rate 0 I would. Today my daughter and I popped in for a bite to eat. There was no room in the 1st part of the restaurant but spaces in the part which is designated for people with dogs. I’m happy to sit by a dog no problem. In fact out of the 6 tables only 1 had a dog with them. We ordered lunch and started to eat. Immediately a waitress started buzzing around holding onto a spray bottle and cloth waiting to clean asap, as there was now a queue forming. Behind us was a guy on a table for 4 happily tucking into his carvery. She kept coming up looking at him. Then unbelievably she came to our table and asked us if he was alone. When she was certain he was alone she let out a big sigh and shrugged shoulders. She then even more unbelievably went and asked the gentleman if he minded moving as he was on a table for 4 and it was really for those with dogs. The guy politely picked up his tray and started walking around with his meal to find another space. I was astonished at the bad manners displayed and I pointed out to the waitress she was out of order. She then argued with me and quickly placed another couple with a dog. That person obviously then felt uncomfortable and started arguing the point that it was for dogs. I explained I understand that but it was disrespectful to ask the customer to move half way through his meal. He became more argumentative and his wife was asking him to calm down. In the end they stormed out without eating and shouted abusive language to me as he went by waving his finger. What an absolute disaster of what should be an enjoyable day out. The waitress was totally in the wrong and ended up causing 5 people to be upset. I would not recommend this place at all and would strongly advise the company do some customer care training."
