"We had a reservation for six pm at this restaurant. As we walked from reception to the bar and restaurant, the corridor gave off a hospital-like vibe and lacked luxury. However, we were pleased to find that the bar and restaurant were very nice. A polite and friendly young man greeted us and showed us to our table. The service was efficient and the waitress was friendly and professional. The starters took a while to arrive, with my fish cake being beautifully presented and delicious, while my wife's ox tail balls were a bit overdone and lacking in flavor. The main course of rosemary marinated chicken was bland and lacking seasoning, with the roast being almost non-existent. The garlic butter was disappointing and the exploding tomatoes provided a humorous moment. The chips, however, were excellent. My wife's pork with mashed potatoes was also bland and lacked seasoning. The house wine was good, but the coke was flat. The tap water was surprisingly pleasant. Dessert was disappointing, with the brownie and key lime tart both being dry and lacking richness. Both dishes could have been improved with a sauce or ice cream. The staff were all amazing and friendly, making our night enjoyable. We will give this restaurant another try despite some missed marks."
