Whatca superb Sunday lunch the food was both substantial and well presented. I would urge all to visit the White horse and enjoy their quality meals.

Me and my husband popped in while passing through the area. Decided to have something to eat and I rated the food! Deffo worth stopping by. (Compliments to the chef) Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and a nice place for a beer.

I said i would not go back to this pub in September, well i did after i found out its under new management. Well they have done a great job,service is good ,good atmosphere, good menu . Well done you .I will be coming back more often

A previous visit was good before Christmas. This Sunday was marked by tough lamb, hard stuffing and small napkins and poor waitress service. There was little attention to our needs or positioning of our table that would be free from Watching the rugby match. We were disappointed we had not been offered a table away from the game. Good but needs improvement

Great service. There were some delays with food due to how busy they were but they then gave us puddings for free and some money off which were greatly appreciated. The lamb was good, the Yorkshire’s and roast potatoes were tasty and cooked very well. Would highly recommend and we will Most certainly be back for another Sunday dinner- the best I’ve had in a long time!

Many thanks to Jo and Andy for the amazing night they arranged for my 80th birthday celebration last Sat. 20/01/24. I gave them my requirements, arranged a fee, and left the rest in their most capable hands. The buffet, entertainment, and service were great and Jo decorated the room beautifully. The feedback from my friends and family has been most complimentary and I trust will be reflected in your future success.

We arrived ten minutes early and were shown to our table drinks ordered straight away. Our order was taken for dinner which took over 35 minutes to arrive. After we had our dinner my husband noticed all the other tables had two different servings of veg which we received just one greens over cooked and mushy. We ordered a dessert and waited and waited again the waitress came up to us and said the boys are running slow in the kitchen which I relied this is not good. half an hour later we received our desserts and my husband asked for the bill straight away rather than us having to wait again.
