"Been coming here for around 8 Years with my Family. It 's always middle of the road food with much better on offer just seconds away but the staff have always been nice and my Daughter loves a yearly picture on the yellow stone Camel so we go back for her. This Year we went on our final night. Our waiter came over to our table and took our order, chicken wings, garlic bread and cheese for starters and 3 fillet steaks and a sirloin for mains with sauces. I asked the waiter a couple of questions about steaks and asked if we could have canarian potatoes. He abruptly said, fries only. Followed by, 'I 'm busy, I 'm going '. I asked 3 questions, is this not allowed? It 's 's at this point we really should have left but we didn 't as we didn 't want to cause upset on our final night with the kids so my wife and I gave a puzzled look to one another, rolled our eyes and ignored his rudeness. Our starters arrived. Chicken wings in BBQ sauce lovely. Garlic bread was a peti pan warmed in the microwave with cheese. Not garlic bread, not garlic tasting. Again, we said nothing. Mains arrived. We all asked for medium rare steaks, they arrived dry, grey and very well done. Mine was full of fat and clearly not fillet. I called the waiter over and I pointed this out. He picked up our plates without saying anything and took them back to the grill were they where all examined by numerous staff. Five minutes later more steaks arrived, the fact they arrived back so quickly did concern me. This time they arrived seared on both sides about 2mm and raw elsewhere. Again, not medium rare, not even rare. They were BLUE. At this point my Wife told me that we will just try to eat them as its not worth saying anything again. Raw steak turns my stomach so I camouflage the taste with the pepper corn sauce. The sauce tasted like pine disinfectant, it was foul. I can be a little dramatic at times so when I spat it out my wife told me to get a grip and took a mouthful of sauce herself and gagged. We 've had gallons of pepper corn sauce over the years. This was WRONG. Again, I ushered the waiter over. Told him to taste the sauce as it resembled pine disinfectant. He took the sauce without saying a word. Didn 't offer a replacement or another flavour. Just said nothing. We all struggled to force down our raw steaks then asked for the bill. The waiter came over. I picked up my raw steak and said, still not cooked right, its raw. He just raised his eyebrows and walked off with our half full plates. Clearly not bothered and no apology. We paid the full bill and left. Staff all ignored us, no goodbye, nothing. Like they were offended that we didnt enjoy the raw steak and rancid sauce. Needles to say, we will never return here again. Awful experience, awful attitude and awful food. Too many other places with much better food and service."
