"we ate here for lunch while we visit playa blanca for the day of matagorda. just gone the opposite had a much more Spanish feeling, and we decided to eat in the isla bonita as it served a 3-course del dia, and a great location on the sea front. there was a good choice of dressing on the menu I chose a thunfish, tomato and tweebelsalat, followed by a 1/2 frying with salat and chips, while my wife chose to start a plate of garlic mushrooms and garnels, followed by grilled tinten fish, with salat and Canarian kartoffels. we both had vanilleeis to end. our two meals were good portions and were very well presented and delicious. with 2 large bottles aqua con gas was the bill just over €33, which we thought was an excellent value. added that the staff was friendly and helpful, it was a very good choice to lunch."

"Un restaurante situado al lado del mar, con una ligera brisa (menos que en el resto de la isla). Opción a comer dentro o fuera, en el porche del local. Personal encantador y servicial. Platos realmente muy buenos, con pescado tipico de la zona. Para una persona que come normal, las raciones estan bien, pero para alguien que come un poco más de lo habitual, las raciones se hacen cortas. Repetiremos!"

"Sigue siendo uno de los mejores lugares de la isla para tomar un buen zumo, bocatas y postres muy ricos. Trato estupendo, y el local está muy céntrico en Playa Blanca. "Visited this restaurant while spending a week in the blu flamingo hotel, it’s next door, first impressions where the restaurant was clean and well kept and the staff were friendly and attentive . We were given a table next to the window that over looked the beach, nice view. We ordered some noodles, duck and a chicken dish, all came out piping hot and tasted amazing. In fact we couldn’t believe how great value for money this restaurant is. We will definitely been returning ."

"I was so excited to come here all week after reading such wonderful reviews, just to be let down massively. they never brought our starter, but brought our main courses then left our food for minutes while they made our starter again. when the main courses came back, my laughter was warm. my man, son and daughter had all pizza, so there was no problem, but I ordered laugh paste and they expect they to make a fresh, but no instead I was faced with the same teller of eating and an rude woman who said I was eating almost everything, but in reality ate half of it, but was stone cold halfway through. I couldn't eat anymore. the owner never wrote our order down, never apologize. then the bill came and we were told not to go back! they knocked my head out of the bill, but it ruined our night. I usually don't complain, but I would rather have bought a quick meal than to spend our hard earned money with such rude people. they have totally messed up our order. why not write up our order first not only try to remember in their head. terrible service, completely unprofessional will never be back!"

"Incredibly miserable and rude staff, we were seated well before breakfast finishing and was abruptly told we couldn’t order because it was 1 minute past the time, by the time they came to actually take our order. We had an allergy in the party of 10 and that was the only person who wanted to order the breakfast which was still 10 euros wasn’t trying to be cheap, there were cheaper lunch options and everyone else ordering from the main menu including 2 children. No apology, no sympathy, just walked off telling us she would give us time to sort out that issue, had to call her back to say we were in fact ready. It was almost laughable, hadnt it of meant the person only then ordered chips, to which the waitress made a point of handing him a very small fork to eat with…. We actually thought it was meant as a joke! Apparently you’re not entitled to full cutlery if you have to order a side order due to allergies. Shouldn’t of bothered to stay and give them our money after they were so rude and the food was completely average, but with hungry children we had little other option. Wouldn’t waste your money on this place, find another restaurant that actually deserves your business! We frequently holiday here numerous times a year. Won’t ever be returning!"

"Decided to stop for a drink here a couple of nights ago on the way back to the hotel for food. Our experience with one member of staff was extremely underwhelming. As we walked through the terrace, we had not even got seated yet, and the member of staff in question, an older English man, shouted 'What do you want? ' I asked him do they do cocktails. I just not a firm no back in response. His attitude was so bad. What 's worse is I then seen online that they do cocktails. He was abrupt and rude and will be the reason I do not return to this pub"
