"I'd booked a table believing a warm Saturday lunchtime to be prime for a place with such good reviews, but needn't have bothered. Whilst the Terrace out on the piazza was brimming with diners, we were pointed downstairs to the rather empty and tired-looking restaurant for our table That was fit for one, not two. Next to a brick wall. After being unceremoniously moved, we were given the rather concise wine list. With only two roses on the list one sweet and the other too old a vintage to be worth drinking we were pushed to the whites and chose a trusty bottle of Pinot Grigio. Which came out warm. Attempts to switch it for a cold bottle were futile but we were given a cooler filled...read more"

Very charming cosy setting. Great for couple nights. The crab linguine was ok, a little heavy on the pasta to crab ratio. The pizza there however is on point.

Location and ambience is excellent. A lovely step into the past to see the old charming buildings. We had a pizza, which was excellent and also the garlic bread. Service is great. Great place to rest your feet and have really good pizzas.

Good Italian restaurant. The downstairs restaurant provides a good setting. The low lit cellar and alcoves make it quite a romantic setting. Food is good although maybe a little overpriced. They often do three course deals etc online so well worth looking out for those. The outside terrance is lovely in the summer for a quick bit of lunch in the sun. Generally a good restaurant with a nice setting.

disappoint! waited for 15 minutes before we decided to approach the manager himself to ask for a table. until then, no one has noticed that we waited for it. the employees who were living with us were very good. but the mushroom hot pot was only average without great taste. the broth share with him was very less. the ordered broth basket was too easy and nothing exciting. the wifi could not be shared with the customers! will not recommend and will not go!

I was on a fast mission to get to 21 Covent Garden when Ashleigh raved about it during our afternoon tea Sunny friends, you know that Covent Garden owns my heart. However, did you know that I have Italian blood running through my veins? When I learned 21 Covent Garden features ‘three floors of modern Italian drinking and dining in the heart of Covent Garden’, I had to go Mr. Sunny and I arrived an hour before our reservation. Yep. Reading the menu online the previous night made us super excited It’s located right in the Piazza. Surprisingly, for such a touristy location, 21 Covent Garden offers a very intimate experience As soon as we were seated, I commandeered our drink...read more Speisekarte ansehen

this is a cozy restaurant on the corner of the covent Garden Square, beautiful in winter, but I am sure a lot of lovers in summer as they have a terrace and sitting places in the open. we sat in the cellar restaurant for our meals from a beautiful wall fish tank! this is a beautiful stand for small groups or special occasions happy hour was up to 8 o'clock with bottle wine for just £12,95 and cocktails for £5,25 we tried the pizza garlic brot, bread basket, courgette and ricotta tortelloni, and the chocolate chip cookie sandwich dessert. eating was good, but nothing extraordinary. the chocolate chip cookie sandwich was very hard and crispy! I would have preferred the cookie to read more

I have so many favourite restaurants in London that I could return to again and again; but since starting a food blog I always try to go to different places so that there's plenty of variety appearing on my little internet space. With that being said I love trying out other people's favourite restaurants and there's nothing better than a trusted recommendation. After reading Ashleigh's blog, Quintessentially Me, I knew she was a lady with taste so I was excited to meet her at her favourite restaurant along with my blogger friend, Melanie from Sunny in London. 21 Covent Garden is perfectly located in the Covent Garden Piazza and is made up of three floors and an outdoor terrace....read more

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
