500 Degrees East Dulwich

Always come here when I’m in East Dulwich. Service always been good. Shakes are good. The Dead Hippie burger is awesome. Lagers are good often craft ones so often change. But served in a frozen glass. Really recommend it

The lunch deal offers excellent value with generous portions. However, don't expect any veggies in your burger—this spot is definitely for meat enthusiasts! The ice cream floats are also a fantastic idea. The staff were super friendly as well!

I highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is one that makes you relax. The staff is friendly and the chef made my buffalo chicken wings extra crispy. Their take on traditional food has a fresh twist. The portion sizes are generous. You must try.

Used to love this place but it’s gone downhill recently the quality of the food tonight was terrible. Ordered some chicken strips, chips and 2 gin tonics which came to £44. Chicken strips were basically all fat and soggy and the cheese and onion on the chips hadn’t been cooked wasn’t warm in the slightest. Have had better food from McDonald’s for a fraction of the price. Avoid!

Update 09/08/21 Visited Meat Liquor again this time with my son for the weekday special £12 for any burger with regular fries and drink). Great experience, great staff and great atmosphere. Had the lunchtime special £10 any burger, fries and refillable soda) upgrades welcomed. Really enjoyed it for my first time here. My friend had the Buffalo Chicken Burger and I had the Dead Hippie burger.

Used my hippy birthday voucher though this time around it was takeaway only. Absolutely loved it as always. Never tire of the chilli fries and the deep fried pickles are a new discovery I’ll definitely be ordering again. My wife had buffalo wings which were also delish with extra sauce chucked in for good measure. Nice one Meat Liquor, keep rocking those burgers and fries. The service at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. We witnessed two couples come in, sit down, and leave after waiting 15 minutes without receiving a menu, even though the place wasn't busy at all. It took nearly half an hour for someone to take our order, and our simple drink order—a soft drink and a can of beer—arrived just as we were finishing our meal. I'm giving it 3 stars because the food was good and came out quickly once we finally placed our order.

Burgers and fries are tasty but the burgers are on the smaller side. One was not enough for my fiance and even I felt like I could have had at least another half, and we’re usually full after a fair sized one. If you want to leave feeling full I’d recommend having starters plus 2 sides with your burger, which would make for a bit of an expensive meal and so I don’t think it’s great value for money. Again, in terms of taste, the burgers were definitely nice, but not worth £10 each.

I always enjoy a burger here, especially since they serve smash patties! I also like the double jack and pickle shot. Normally, I skip the chips, but this time we decided to try the cheesy chips and the jalapeño chips. We were caught off guard by their size—one bowl could easily feed two people, so we struggled to finish it among the three of us. The flavors were good, but unfortunately, there was too much cheese, which caused half the chips to turn to mush. We also tried the fried pickles, but I was disappointed. I could barely taste the pickles, and they were way too oily, so I couldn't eat them. I think they might taste better if they were made with full-sized pickles, which would preserv...
