Food and price was decent. Staff friendly. The restaurant itself is cramped and not laid out very well. Is convenient for the Kings theatre.

Visited the restaurant for dinner with our friends. Food was nice however the portion size was very small for the price that was being charged.

Food no better than ok. Nothing seemed freshly made Staff were rude and incompetent. Brought the bill before we had even finished coffee, then stood over us waiting for payment I had to tell her to come back. Another waiter came 5 mins later again...had to tell him to come back. There's a queue say's the bold boy! Tell you what buddy.....We won't be in any queue to come back here

This restaurant is conveniently located near the King's Theatre, but unfortunately, that is one of its only positives. The atmosphere is lacking, partly due to the overly bright lighting and nervous service. The menu is unimaginative and the food lacks flavor and authenticity, with small portions that leave much to be desired. The spacious dining room is poorly laid out, with servers awkwardly maneuvering between tables. The waitstaff seemed inexperienced and confused, with service that was less than professional. We arrived a few minutes early for a 6pm pre theatre and were asked to wait, fair enough. We got our table at 6.15. It was immediately at the bottom of the stairs with a very cold wind coming down for the street. Eventually I...went upstairs and closed the outside door. My starter was the pate, it had an unpleasant flavour and slightly mottled colour so I left more than 3/4 of it. To be fair, we weren’t charged for it. The wine (merlot) was £19 and absolutely awful, probably retails at £3-5. Main course was a greasy carbonara. Glasgow has many many Italian restaurants. I am trying to find positive things to say in my reviews, but in all honesty, the only positive aspect of our visit was when we left. We struggled to locate the restaurant, as it is actually called Sannino and appears to be connected to a pizzeria. We had chosen the "pre-show" menu before going to the theater, and we should have been concerned when there were so many empty tables while other nearby restaurants were full. When our food finally arrived, we discovered a foil lid in one of the dishes (resembling one from a milk container). Visited the restaurant with 3 adults 2 kids last night! Convenient for the Kings! Very busy but got seated straight away, very cramped feel, poor man in the corner was completely jammed in by me, very embarrassing! Got arancini and it came with 2 arancini...on the plate! Lasagne came one small square and that was it! Couldn't believe it I got the pre-theatre £14.95 and £3 for a juice so a twenty pound meal and we left still hungry i would not recommend this place at all unless you are a very small eater. book this place through 5pm.com for a bite before the theater. we were shown on our table, which was in a narrow corner against another with other diners. server produced the menu and despite the 5pm offer of 2 curses with a glass...prosecco for £16.99, it showed that almost every option a addition fee was created. we were appalled to find that our glass of prosecco was a dimble-full (not sure where they found such small glasses). we stared with the minenstrone, which was added more like a dose tomatensuppe with a little veg. we paid extra for the branzino and more for a few riders to accompany this. when the food arrived, the fish was tiny, overcooked and cold and the bed of the Mediterrane...
