A movie environment. In a Scalea never visited before. Good food, just as you expect from an ancient tavern Pur not loving especially the cats that wander around while you eat, they were of excellent company

A romantic setting with enthusiastic and friendly staff. Delicious traditional food cooked to order, and excellent value. A real find in a lovely setting well worth the trek to get there. Unique Amaro cocktails to round the evening off. We've been coming to Scalea for 12 years and can't believe we have not found it before.

A rare pearl! Restaurant almost accidentally discovered during the holidays.. We're back two nights in a row! The kitchen is authentic (excellent!!), perfectly calibrated portions, honest prices... and the magical place! The service is simply perfect.. welcome and sympathetic insured! Plus : great music! I have been here several times as I had a house nearby. It ranged from OK to really poor. One of these times, I made the mistake of bringing a group of my Italian friends here (I was new to the area and did not know any better as to where there might be restaurants that I could take them to for our special occasio). Thinking it would be a special treat for them, I was beyond embarrassed and disappointed at the amount, quality, and preparation of the food. I never went back. The choice is yours.

Hello me and my partner on the late afternoon (just before dinner) walking in the historic center of Scalea we noticed the local Antica Trattoria A'Taverna, and we were immediately impressed: in a few words we immediately stopped and took a table and we dined, in a short time arrived immediately the boys of the Trattoria and we year at the ordination. However the staff of Taverna offers you kindness and helpfulness. I was forgetting to say that a staff guy has something from the singer MICHAEL JACKSON

An atmospheric place very close to the highest point of old town. The guys do not speak english at all, and even do not have english menu, but anything we randomly chose was delicious! Antipasti huge portion for 2 (vegetables, meats, cheese, salami, fried zucchini pancakes . Pasta with beans and picanto olive oil It was something extraordinary! unexpectedly reach of taste! also could be shared for 2. Mix of meats fried pork, beef and 1 cotlete. After the above we just took it away home, and enjoyed the breakfast next day. Taking into account the size of portions and the quality of food, i can not say the place is expensive.
