It was my first time eating Malaysian food, so I cannot vouch for the authenticity but the food here was an absolute treat to my Indian taste buds.

Comfy small restaurant, friendly service and of course good food! We tried teh tarik (creamy and not too sweet, you have to try! , nasi lemak (big portion with tasty rendang and mamak noodle (malaysian style fried noodle with sweet hint . Everything was enjoyable

Ich bin froh, authentische und nostalgische malaysische Aromen in Deutschland gefunden zu haben. Ich habe das Nasi Lemak Rendang mit einer Beilage aus Ananas und Gurke, Kuih Bakar, Kuih Talam und Kopi Tarik ausprobiert. Sie haben meinem Wunsch nach weniger Süße wirklich Beachtung geschenkt, und es war tatsächlich nicht zu süß! Ein großes Lob für den liebevollen und herzlichen Service von Todd.

Came here with high expectations and they didn‘t disappoint! We ordered the Nasi Lemak with Beef Rendang and it was better than I had imagined. The rice was fragrant and the beef rendang was tender. The rendang spice was so accurate with the savory taste and unique texture of coconut. In contrary to another review I have read as I was scrolling here, as an Indonesia , I believe comparing Indonesian and Malaysian rendang is a totally pointless thing to do

A nice, cozy restaurant with plenty of different food to choose from. A wide variety of starter main course combinations can be assembled. Most meals are hearty and savoury, yet the salads and several side dishes offer a great balance. It speaks for itself that my friends, who have spent years abroad in the south eastern Asian regions, come back to Abang Toto‘s and suggested this to me. The owner is really friendly, speaks fluid English, loves to have a chat with customers and really engages with them.
