"This place serves some of the best shakes I have had outside of the USA. Really lovely and a brilliant range of flavours, some very unusual, some old familiar favourites. Worth a visit, although you will probably have a bit of a wait as there is nearly always a queue due to the place being so popular. Prices are completely reasonable for the quality you get about £3For something really unusual try one of their Mocktail shakesThe other thing I really like about this place is they sell genuine, imported American sweets. Really nice touch"

"Super Gastro Pub right in the centre of Witney. Our hotel restaurant was full so they and our taxi driver recommended the Fleece. The hotel (Old Swan and Minster Mill) reception booked ut cor us. Turns out they were fully booked too but do their best to accommodate if you have been recommended. They have an extensive menu which all appears to be freshly cooked. I had Roast Beef Dinner for main and the beef was lovely and pink as I like it but don't worry if you don't, they ask first! My wife had Smoked Salmon and Haddock Fishcakes with Chive Crème Fraîche and Rocket Salad. I had the Cheese fir dessert with a very nice selection of three cheeses. I did have to ask for a few more biscuits but they were soon presented. My wife had the Wicked Chocolate Brownie. In all a very good experience of both food and service. If you are in Witney looking to eat, do give the Fleece a try. You will not be disappointed."

"quality and quantity sat there on Sunday with my kumpels and was pleasantly surprised by the “Sonnay Bankquet” deal – first my kumpels believed that this was too good to be true that much eat for only £12,95, it must be a kind. small part maybe? Maybe a good quality? no – amazingly tasty eating with incredible portion sizes – and even a free bottle of wine! not only that, but friendly staff and a beautiful interieur for maximum comfort while eating. we all went after the next Sunday and I can almost guarantee that we don't stop coming back soon – would recommend to anyone looking for a good night for an excellent price!"

"We had a great time and stayed over in the hotel... A little mid week treat, the staff where very friendly and welcoming. They accommodated our two dogs that semi took over the pub and made a wonderful gin martini and gave a glass of bubbles to my wife (on the house) for her birthday. Its a super place, super location, super friendly and you feel part of the furniture as soon as you walk in... a place you can loose many hours sipping your martini (or at least i did). The only thing to not and why this hasn't got a full 5 stars is the vegi food options are limited we had to send back the food my wife order and they kindly took it off the bill, but good vegi options aren't hard and there should be a greater selection. Other than that you'll love your stay."

"In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, I decided to try out a local independent coffee shop, where I discovered Coffeesmith and have never looked back. They serve fantastic coffee especially there flat white! They have an incredibly friendly staff team and owner. The location of the shop is perfect, being right in the city centre and is an ideal venue to do some work. I have managed to complete many university reports and my dissertation while working in this coffee shop, I cannot recommend it highly enough, I implore anyone in the area or visiting Oxford for the day to try coffeesmith, you will not be disappointed! They even accept dogs, what more could you want for a coffee shop! without a doubt, this is the best coffee shop I've ever visited"
