"I knew of this Agriturismo sometime ago and have waited nearly a year for it to open for one reason they were going to offer something special, homely and hand made and they have done just what they promised. The restaurant is charming and inviting and the family run business is done wo with a passion for the genuine produce that they bring to the table with top class service. My husband, and my two children, who are also adults decided to celebrate my 31st wedding anniversary here and we loved it!! The chef, a lady of basically runs the kitchen and the small holding delivered an antipasto made up of the following Mozzerella, riccota baked with truffle oil, local matured cheese baked with truffle a harder consistency to the ricotta this cheese is called Cacciocavallo and is a local delicacy. Goats cheese served with wild bee honey, Roasted pork leg sliced with rocket salad, parma ham, salami and smoked bacon. Hot dishes included a delicious tripe cooked in spicey tomatoe sauce, harricot beans with sausage, aubergine parmesan, stuffed peppers, grilled vegetables, bruschette with tomatoes, fried green peppers, gratin of baked onion, sauteed green beans with bacon. This was just the anti pasto all was served at a great pace, we were not rushed and we enjoyed their locally produced wine which was a great house wine, RED. As far as pasta dishes were concerned there were two choice bought to the table, Tavioli made in house served with butter and truffle sauce filled with ricotta and dressed with parmesan cheese, The second plate of pasta was homemade spagetti servied in a rich tomatoe and porcini mushroom sauce. I could not eat the pasta so the chef made me a huge plate of suateed green beans with the porcini and tomatoe sauce it was so delicious that i had seconds. Amazing. We ate between us as our main course 3 Tagliate that is three grilled and sliced beef steaks served with porcini mushrooms and rocket. The meat was accompanied with mixed salad, potatoes baked with onions and then toour great surprise the chef servied us with hand made stuffed peppers stuffed with spicey tuna, sorrentine tomatoes with basil and a wild rocket sald with porcini mushrooms and truffles. We just could not even negotiate any form of desert but were offered liquors and coffee free of charge In four people we spent 120 euros, that is 30 euros per head!!!! I cannot believe just how amazing this place is and cannot wait to return, We have begged for 5 litres of wine next time to take home as they make it themselves and it is absolutely delightful. What can I say, Nicola, Soccorso and his wife the more than able chef, YOU GAVE ME A FANTASTIC culinary experience and i wish you luck for the future.
