Albany Garden Fish Chips Kebab House Colchester

Waited ages for 2 potions of chips and when I got them home they were anaemic in colour and tastless even with salt and vinegar. No not for us.

Got to be the best chip shop in colchester , The best value for money, amazing kebabs with pure chicken , Deliveries is always on time or even before the estimated time , 5* place to order.

Been here a couple times chips can be ok but I order wings the chef convinced me there were good biggest mistake ever taste flavourless too much batter and just made my mouth hot food not always fresh ever and prices are day light robbery Speisekarte ansehen

We always order the Special Shish Kebab and it is always delicious. The food is always hot, tasty, and delivered very quickly. If you're looking for a good kebab, this is the place to go! Especially because they serve excellent 'fish and chip shop' style fries.

This fast food restaurant is of very poor quality and is not inexpensive. The frozen food is not good, the fries are too greasy, and the overall establishment is rundown. I would recommend steering clear of this place, especially since there is an excellent fish and chips restaurant nearby.

We've only had take away from here they have never failed us. The lamb shish is always hot, fresh plentiful, the salad is always chilled fresh they have never made an error with our order. Cannot comment on other food items, except the chips which we every now and then for a cheeky treat they've always been a decent portion, hot not soggy/claggy. Very reasonable prices too. So angry ... ordered a jacket potato with chilli con carne ... might as well just ordered a potato ... hardly any chilli in it! Waste of money couldn’t even do the potato right Also ordered a burger ... how the hell do you mess up a burger! It’s burnt and and leaves a horrible taste in your mouth Kids burger is also burnt and tough to eat Curry sauce looks like they have just left it all night.. Think it’s safe to say I won’t be going back ...

We visited this evening, having purchased good fish and chips from here in the past. I ordered a large haddock and large chips, which came to £7.50. This is usually enough to feed my wife and myself, but the chips were almost cold and only enough for one person. The haddock was good, but if that was a large I hate to think what a medium is like. £7.50 for a large haddock (or cod) and chips is cheaper than some other shops, but the quantity is insufficient. Essentially if you need enough for one hungry person, you need to order two pieces of fish and two portions of chips.

I would give this restaurant no stars, if possible, or even negative stars. We placed our order using their app, which did not allow us to make any modifications. Our order arrived after an hour and 20 minutes, despite being told it would only be a one-hour wait. The pizza was flavorless, the burger meal deal did not come with the drink or chips, and the burger itself was described by my boyfriend as tasting like "seasoned cardboard" - horrendously bland. My mom's chicken kebab only had three pieces of chicken in the entire pita. My dad had to go pick up the missing chips himself because the delivery driver was unavailable. Speisekarte ansehen
