If like me you love proper Chinese food then Albert's is the place to go. Fairly priced with a large selection of dishes and very generous potions. The Take Away Service is second to none in Boston.

Waited an hour for a small takeaway order it was a busy Saturday night but we were not advised in advance that it would take that long. Food portions were small, low in meat content and high in liquids and sauces.

The food wasexcellent quality.however the experience was ruined by.the rude slap dash service we received.they had run out of ice cream in my profurred flavour.however desert was knocked of the bill.albert refused to come out. Speisekarte ansehen

Hadnt booked a table and it was really busy but the friendly front of house lady managed to squeeze us in. Beautifully presented freshly cooked food was promptly delivered. We had duck in plum sauce and spicy chilli chicken and it was delicious.

Although the exterior of the restaurant may not be attractive, the food is delicious. The interior is a bit dim and could use more lighting. The staff is friendly and willing to cater to individual preferences. I requested extra spice and the Chicken Szechuan was superb.

To be honest Boston has lost its 2 best Chinese restaurants over the past 2 years and we are left with Alberts, the food is never consistent in quality, some times it’s good and other times it’s that bad and the meats chewy that it’s a throw away job... It’s a shame really as the high price of the dishes gives u a false sense of quality!! Speisekarte ansehen

Thought we would treat ourselves with a Chinese takeaway , the crispy duck was dry and not crispy , no plum sauce and about 5 bits of cucumber , prawn crackers just tasted of fat , the prawn toast came with lettuce ???? not seaweed , the ribs in sauce were just pathetic , if there was any good points the chips were ok £25 wasted !!!! real shame as we use alberts as a treat and this certainly wasn't , when sat waiting the two people working spoke constantly in eastern European , could of been saying anything , VERY RUDE

Very frustrating experience. Ordered a takeaway at 5.30pm aware they were busy as it took 25 minutes to get through plus it being Christmas Eve. Informed food would be ready at 8.30pm which we accepted. Food was not ready until 9.30pm. During the period between 8.30 and 9pm walk ins were still being accepted. We understand it’s a popular evening for takeaway but I would have preferred an honest estimate (although 3 hours seemed a significant amount of time) or to be told they couldn’t take more orders and we could have gone elsewhere. They weren’t putting the order through until you arrived at your collection time and paid why not tell you this when ringing as we would have just gone in, ord...

My Son took myself and his Aunt out for a meal, his treat. We arrived early but our table was ready so a good start. We decided to have the set meal and a bottle of white wine. The wine turned out to be red so had to go back. Our first course arrived. Delicious. Our second course arrived but must have been someone else’s order as there wasn’t sufficient for 3 and we had to point this out. It was rectified. When our main course began to be delivered we were given 2 dishes and told to ‘enjoy your meal’ (there should have been 4 and neither of these given were listed). We pointed this out.
