we came here to celebrate with a friend, as we said it was the best Italian in maidenhead. we were not disappointed! eating was extraordinary and the staff was knowledgeable and attentive. we will go back absolutely!

A wonderful experience from picking up the phone and booking to closing the door on the way out. Warm, friendly and attentive staff, an incredible menu and the most delicious food! You will not be disappointed. I'm sure there is something for everyone on this...menu, and the portions are very generous. A little gem, hidden away on Ashley Road. We can't wait to come back.

I checked out reviews before going to Alghero and went along feeling positive. From the outside it doesn’t look too inviting but as soon as you step inside you know it’s going to be a good night because the atmosphere is great. We were made...very welcome. The food is delicious and portions very generous. We had a really lovely evening and I’m happy to recommend the fish, risotto and pasta. No room for desserts unfortunately.

Went for an evening meal with my family, not busy, food was okay however later that night someone in the party suffered with severe sickness and diarrhoea which lasted throughout the night! The restaurant was contacted via email as this was the only meat eaten...within the day and the only meat/seafood dish served to the table. The restaurant owner did not want to know and said it was not there fault no compassion and not going to investigate the problem! Terrible customer service, won’t be back and will be warning everyone against this place!

we're here a few weeks ago at the 40th birthday. there were 15 of us on a Saturday night and the service and the eating were simply incredible. all the foods came together and all commented on how delicious their meals were. The... proportions are also generous! I had the fillet steak, that was one of the best steaks I had in the opposite! I also made a big birthday cake and while I tried to cut it, the owner came very friendly and took over to cut it and serve what was a great help! I can't judge our experience high enough. it's really a hidden gem in parkstone and we can't wait to come back!

My wife and I were in Dorset for a week. My wife found this restaurant and booked. We were not disappointed. It was our best meal of the week. Simple old fashioned quality. No pretence , dressed up or not. I couldn’t believe the manageress...was writing down orders on good old fashioned pen and paper. We had squid and prawns for starters which were lovely. My wife had the fish stew and I had the sea bass in lemon prawn sauce. It was blissful. The restaurant became busier and it was little wonder why, great food, great ambience and great prices. £54 for 2 people 2 courses including drinks. Wish we could bring it to London with us. We will be back!

We had never been to this Restaurant before but our friends highly recommended it, so we booked with them to go and were amazed at the Friendly atmosphere there was in there, the staff treat you as old friends, are very chatty and give you...any advice on the dishes that they serve, which if i may say are Delicious. There is a lovely Ambiance in the place that makes you feel so welcome, nothing is too much trouble, we went for a second time on our 45th Wedding Anniversary and had a Fabulous time, so good in fact that we have booked again for my Birthday on the 23rd December when they are having an Elvis Tribute! we are all looking forward to this.
