No services,the food took a long time and was inedible. Avoid the place

Great location especially when you have been cycling and need a pint and some food afterwards

Very disappointed. We checked they were serving food as we were camping and running out. We were told yes, so arranged our supplies and time on this, only to be told on arrival the kitchen was closed.

We stopped here yesterday to have a quick bite to eat before going to an event at Kielder Observatory. So glad we did! This was a brilliant find, excellent food and the staff were all lovely. Definitely worth calling in if you're in the area! Speisekarte ansehen

Great New layout of the entire pub, good menu, very reasonable prices, craft beers etc good prices. Friendly helpful staff, warm welcoming out of the way pub well worth the visit and the easy hikes are a, good way to walk off the lovely food! Worthy of the five star plus review

We called in for drinks and a lite bite, lovely friendly place, felt very welcomed with our little doggy too, food was gorgeous and the portion sizes were great too. Landlord was very jovial too which is what you needed on a gloomy drizzly day. will definitely go back there if we get chance.

We visited the pub/restaurant with high hopes after good recommendations, whilst being fully aware that remote places often mean longer than average waits and reduced selections. As the establishment was very busy when we visited I’m sure this was a major contributing factor… After checking my bank statement at a later date i realised i had been overcharged for a round of drinks (im sure this was a genuine mistake and i blame myself for not being more careful at the time). Poor communication between orders being taken (and paid for) and the kitchen. After a half hour wait from ordering we were informed that the only food available was fish and chips or scampi.
