"We took a meal here on 24 July 2010. Fantastic food. innovative, tasty, beautifully presented. Perfectly cooked - both fish and beef. the chef is clearly very fond of fresh products. each dish was a success. There was also good wine. pleasant atmosphere. a fixed menu available, menu festival @ 30 eur. service a little slow but understandable because we were late on a Saturday night and only one waitress to serve the entire restaurant. She did her best to help our group, which speaks only the basic French, to understand the menu. She really tried and we enjoyed all her efforts. problem with the invoice with some items that weren't for our table. We were to blame because we didn't check it before paying by credit card. and then it became a bit dramatic to get our refund, which eventually was offered in cash. Before leaving the restaurant, the boss started yelling at the lonely waitress to give the customers the wrong bill, which was unpleasant. As a patron, he is responsible for equipping his establishment in an appropriate manner for a busy Saturday night, but he clearly did not see it in this way. I'd really like to go back for food. But I'd check my bill carefully."

Had a lovely dinner here last night. Service was friendly, food was interesting and tasty, and the wine was very good. I had the joues de pork which was very tender and came with excellent chips. The dessert of chocolate ice-cream and cognac was lip-smacking...good! A good place for a quiet chat, or with friends. Menu prices on their website. When you want some great food, with a nice waiter to spend a charming evening you might want to select Anis Canisse! Not downtown, this jewel is located on Avenue de Toulouse! I had a ravishing lamb sweetbread salad and also tasted the pig...feet candy WOW! It was delicious! As a main course a fabulous dish of mini squids in ink! I can say that all the dish looked top-notch! The waiter was of great help with the wine and we had a nice rosé as well as an excellent red Puech Haut prestige. I also hade a great surprise with the Café gourmand it was not a selection of mini dessert but a selection of nearly the entire dessert menu!
