The only restaurant in Vicenza we didn't enjoy. The reception and service were the worst either of us could remember in many years of travel in Italy. The woman in charge was incredibly rude and, as we observed, not only to our table. Avoid at all costs.

Piatti molto buoni, vino ottimo personale cortese. Unica nota stonata il tiramisù inconsistente .. solo della panna con una pallina di gelato... bocciato. Per il resto tutto molto buono. Lo consiglio a chi vuole mangiare un buon baccalà in una location curata e accogliente.

in this place we certainly ate a mantecato cod and a cod to the vicentina worthy of tradition. very appetizing, correct portions, in short very positive experience. the place I have to say a little dark, courteous and hospitable but nn very empathetic. we are of the center of Italy and we noticed from the advent, we would have liked a greater interlocution, than in the place a small lack. nothing takes away the excellent dishes. Dopo tanti anni oggi sono tornato a Vicenza, ricordandomi di un posticino centralissimo dove più volte mi ero trovato bene. L'atmosfera è sempre la stessa, accogliente, intimo, con un menù al tempo stesso semplice ma ricercato nella scelta degli ingredienti. Le ragazze che servono ai tavoli sono premurose e competenti, la titolare simpatica e professionale. Tutto molto buono ad un prezzo onesto. Torno presto, complimenti per aver continuato nel solco della tradizione.

Casa piacevole in cui si sta bene. L'ambientazione del locale è semplice ma caratterizzata con un tono di rusticità (piacevoli pareti tinteggiate di un verde salvia, illuminazione soffusa e intima). Il cibo (tagliolini neri con burrata, un brasato con tortino di verdure e un crumble di mele con gelato alla vaniglia) è buono e sostanzioso. Anche le porzioni sono sostanziose e i prezzi adeguati. [Unica pecca: circa un quarto d'ora di attesa per il dolce. Ad ogni modo, da provare e da tornarci.

Went to the Vicenza market today with some lovely ladies. One of them suggested this little spot for lunch and it was fantastic. Even though it felt like 100 degrees outside the shade of the buildings and the flow of the alley allowed for a beautiful breeze while we were lunching. We all chose different salads and no one was disappointed. They were all delicious. I had the greek salad with table spray balsamic vinegar and oil, and it was so large I couldn't finish it. I'm not complaining though. If I'd had more room I would have eaten it all! Their house red is also a must. I still can't get over how good and inexpensive the house wines are here in Italy.
