"We went to visit the Canfranc station one morning in August and it was almost time for lunch, so we booked a table for four on the terrace of the restaurant which, despite having a small surcharge, is worth it because it is very good. At least when we went, they had two shifts, at 1:45 p.m. and at 3:00 p.m. Book early as places fill up fast. The waiters are friendly and reasonably quick, considering how full both the interior of the establishment and the terrace were. Although the menu offered alternatives to the menus, at the time of the truth they told you that it was only possible to choose between the options of first and second courses on the menu, which are practically €20 each. The price includes water and sparkling house wine. If you want beer or soft drinks, you pay separately. Since they don't have a children's menu, you can order half a menu for the little ones in the house, who find easy options without problems meat with creilles, etc. As for the adults, there are enough options, both starters and second courses, and the truth is that everything we ordered was very good. In short, it's a good restaurant, with an honest and quality proposal for lunch without complicating life while you're sightseeing. "We've been two adults and two girls eating today. We order an Argentine menu and a burger. Everything was delicious. the delicate Argentinean empanadas. the simple but refreshing salad. criollos squirrel at your point. the delicious chimichurri. the high note is taken by the novil intercot that was simply perfect. the Argentine wine they serve is special. and to finish, dessert some crepes with sweet milk, very good. "We drove for three hours to see the spectacular station. We stopped for a beer and found the asador. In the middle of the pandemic it was full of people eating lunch. We decided to join them. The set menu was €14 including wine coffee and bread. What followed was delicious, we had an amuse guile of chicken liver pate on toast followed by ,lentils and chorizo for him and puff pastry with a mushroom and prawn filling for her. We followed this with a pork stew with little vegetables and a beef casserole. By now we were quite full and passed the bitter chocolate mousse with whipped cream, pronounced delicioso by the woman at the next table in favour of cold home made flan which slid down. Coffee followed. At 3.30 people were still coming in and choices were becoming fewer but the young couple sanitised and reset and greeted with great charm. This was an unexpected find and a thoroughly good lunch,"
