"Truly original place, out of the tourist circuit, therefore quiet and also suitable for those who want to dine in peace (like couples Very few tables, so the service gains us, such as the very cordial welcome of the owner-host-waiter (Tuscan) and the owner cook (Emilian). Beautiful works by young artists on the walls, cheese counter and minimal furniture, as I like it, with an open kitchen, which gives the opportunity to interact with the cook. You can enjoy excellent cheeses from Italian English French, etc, (I tasted an excellent goat cheese with a dark chocolate leaf inside, delicious The menu has a few dishes, however, very original and prepared with love. I took a fillet of amberjack with potato fondue, green beans and edible flowers, cooked very well and very tasty. Finally I had a dessert that featured a fruit salad with oat crumble and maple syrup with fennel seeds: excellent. All accompanied by fresh water and a glass of Cerasuolo rosé. I count in the average, but I repeat, it's worth it!"

Dynamic, unusual and well thought out venue. An interesting wine list, a captivating menu. For lovers of bubbles, cheeses but not only, there is a really nice couple waiting for you, very kind, with an engaging cordiality. Thank you, see you soon .

Beautifully prepared wonderful food. Italian language menu only but with the friendly staff and a little help from Google translate you'll get there and it will be well well worth it. Not your traditonal tattoria/osteria, this is modern and adventurous cooking.

If you happen to pass to Lucca or want to pamper you stop here!! A pleasant discovery in an isolated area, a different experience from the usual chaotic and noisy restaurants. The place is very intimate with a style studied to the last detail. The food is great and intriguing and the staff conveys all the passion for food and wines. Final-class touch was the coffee served at the table. Great value for money...

We stayed for lunch for the first time, we ordered the calamari (presented in menu plural) and we have seen arrive u single squid, of very normal size for the small amount of 15€! This isn't exactly it. Good dish for charity but at an exorbitant price for the quantity presented, we rose from table with hunger. Too bad because the local is a love and the kitchen is of excellent quality but at these prices really not.

I remember when I was a kid I used to spend a lot in front of this place, it was a peach shop. After so many years I was embroidered by chance to pass from this hidden but very central viuzza and, instead of the fish shop, I found a very cozy place, housewife. Finally after a few weeks of the pleasant discovery, I decided to go with a friend. Very good all dishes, cozy place, homely but refined environment, the owners make you feel at home. I got a moka coffee, classy touch! I'll definitely come back.

Unusual as usual dishes such as dishes presented. A culinary experience undoubtedly to try. Proposed menus, courageous as the owners, who decided to share with the guests, the intimacy of their kitchen. Excellent flavors, genuine as the coffee moka that closed our dinner. Bravo! A small hidden gem in the midst of the tourist chaos of Lucca. The place is really nice, simple and well furnished, mixing a slightly naive taste with minimal. Housed in an old fish shop, the tiles on the walls and the tanks where they kept fresh fish can still be seen, the place is perfect for an intimate dinner but also for an aperitif with friends. It is run by a couple of very nice, competent and passionate guys. Getting Nicola to explain the different cheeses and wines he offers is a delight for the ears as much as Lorenza's simple but refined dishes are for the palate. I spent a beautiful evening in peace, eating and drinking well I will definitely be back.

Being in Lucca for work, I came across this little bistro. Enriched by the modern menu and the showcase of cheeses and open kitchen, I decide to dine. I am welcomed by the Oste who very cordially puts me at ease, and this is a value I look for very often. The menu presented is composed of very refined dishes and I’m looking for raw materials. I decide to start with a cheese cutter and then go to Baccalà with curcuma potatoes, Piedmont hazelnuts and lemon and basil pesto. All accompanied by a great champagne. On this I affirm myself as the winery proposed by the Oste has an eye to the bubbles. The flagship is the Moka coffee that makes you feel at home. Great experience to return as soon as I...

We found this place when we were looking for a place to eat lunch on the weekend and many of the surrounding restaurants were booked out. We are glad we found this place because it turned out to be a highlight of our trip through Italy The menu is small but the dishes are interesting and creative. Don't worry too much about what you order, everything was delicious and the owners kindly explained it all for us. We tried the scallops with choritzo and oolong tea, shrimp salad with buratta cheese, deg eggs and the salumi board. The fig and buffalo milk panacotta was the best dessert I've had here (and we've had a lot of desserts). It's refreshing to see something different from the more traditi...
