"I was in last Saturday for bottomless brunch for my mam's 50th birthday, I paid for myself and her and we were with a table of 10 all together. I'm very disappointed and honestly feel like I've been robbed blind. I waited 45 mins for my first drink despite ordering it 3 times. I ended up only having two cocktails and a glass of prosecco and my mam only had 3 glasses of prosecco. I can't understand how you can have a room that full and only have one person working the bar making drinks. It certainly wasn't worth £80 and in comparison to other bottomless brunches, this one was the worst I've been to for organisation and attentiveness, it seemed poorly organised and definitely wasn't worth the £80 that I paid. I contacted La Torre on Facebook and they responded by asking where I was sat and since then I have been ignored. People on our table were holding their glasses in the air for drinks and we were being completely blanked and walked past to serve other tables. They say that you can order another drink when your current one is half empty, I'd say good luck with that. I'd save your money and go elsewhere for bottomless brunch."

"Had a delicious lunch yesterday at this very friendly place. The open crab sandwich and panini were very tasty. There was a large selection of herbal teas and I can certainly recommend the lemongrass and ginger. My husband enjoyed his 2 flat whites. Both the tea and coffee are locally sourced in Newcastle. The two homemade cakes we had were very yummy. We sat outside with our dog who loved the fuss they made of her and they even brought her her own water bowl. All in all a great find and we will certainly be back when visiting the area in the future."

"Called in to Panuccis on a whim as I had a hankering for potato skins as someone who no longer lives in the North East and can't get them elsewhere. I had the 2 course special which was good value and went for potato skins and a vegetarian al forno pasta dish. Both arrived quickly and piping hot and were super tasty. There was an excellent choice of homemade desserts on the menu, I went for cheesecake which was a big enough portion for about 3 people. I found the staff really lovely, friendly and attentive. My only regret is I paid by card and went without cash, they're not able to add a tip on to the card machine so I left feeling terrible I hadn't compensated lovely service but will be back and pay it backwards ?? In future."

"The food at this restaurant is always amazing, and the owner and waiter are both very friendly. The staff has been the same for years and they really understand their customers. The atmosphere is welcoming and perfect for dining in. They also offer great takeaway options, and have vouchers available for gifts. You can even have their delicious food delivered to your door."

"Cafe One is a local cafe at the end of a row of terraced houses in a very industrial area. From the outside, it’s the last place you would expect to find a range of vegan options. A good range too see photo for menu Jan 2022. Staff really knew all about requirements too to the extent they told me I couldn’t have a roll because they had milk in, but the sliced bread was dairy free. I had a vacon sandwich, with chips, and a big home made flapjack, which was lovely. The other half had a Linda Mc fish cake. They even had vegan mayo and salad cream! There is a separate frier for the vegan stuff and they take gluten free seriously too they even have a separate toaster. Impressive effort and knowledge. A lot of larger, more expensive places could learn a lot from the staff at Cafe One. So friendly too. Parking is on a residential street right outside.
