Asian Box - Speisekarte

Speedy delivery but utterly shocking, used to be considered one of the best Asian restaurants in Mutley, to being easily worst in Plymouth, the quality of the food is not worth your money.

First time ordering from here tonight and the food was on time as started, lovely and hot a very tasty. The chicken pad Thai was beautiful and very filling. Salt and pepper chips were a little poor on the seasoning but still lovely. Delivery to Ivybridge which is a bonus. Will be back again.

Having been away and not had time to shop decided to have a T/A so went on line and ordered from here So easy to order and it arrived on time piping hot. The Thai Green Prawn Curry had a lovely flavour and about 7 large Prawns. Singapore Noodles and a Vegetable Curry All delicious and will certainly be ordering again Speisekarte ansehen

Never have I ordered a Chinese where it took 3hrs! Regardless of the day/time of order. Food was nice except had a hair/fibre in one of the dishes. Food was steaming but once plated went very cold quickly- only x2 people eating. Would possibly order again as food was nice however more dissapointed in the wait time than the hair. So would probably order elsewhere.

Food was minging to be honest......chicken balls were like rubber......salt and pepper chicken like what the hell....never seen it cooked like before and it was not very nice.....use to use this chinese often 12 months ago but prices became crazy high.....thought we try today as it was previously nice but will never order again Chickwn curry was also like 50% mushrooms

This use to be our favourite Chinese but after the last 3 orders we will not be ordering again. The food quality is very very cheap now , I've had better supermarket takeaways . The quantity has changed aswell. It is very expensive now as prices have shot up massively. We will not be ordering again, such a shame , ever since the shop in mutley opened our local in Plympton started to get worse. Speisekarte ansehen

This was a delivery. I asked for the curry to be extra spicy with extra chillis. What I did get was what seemed like loads of pepper added instead! There were no chilli's as other places would add. But instead chilli powder or pepper or whatever was added, seemed pepper to me. Stated large curry but the container was only 3/4 full so more like large container normal curry portion. Noodles initially seems OK but had a stale wierd taste especially on the onions. Not too happy this time.

I've been a regular here for years now, I order at least once a week by pre-ordering or failing that I order a collection and pick it up on my way home from work, I know they are a popular takeaway so I usually order my food early during the day to avoid having to wait to long. I have watched them all in action and they seem like a super tight-knit team, drivers always rushing in and then out, the guys behind the counter are very pro-active when it comes to organising everything, everyone seems to know exactly what they are doing and me being nosey I found out they monitor and adjust delivery times throughout the night. Having ADHD I don't miss much in the way of details.

We used to frequently order from this Chinese restaurant for takeout, but we stopped in February 2023 when their prices went up. We decided to give it another chance last night (November 2023) but were disappointed to find that the quality had declined. My rice dish had very little meat in it, and what meat it did have was in tiny chunks. It tasted quite bland as well. The Foo Yung dish was lacking in ingredients and mostly just consisted of eggs. My wife's curry was more like a soup, and the chicken in it was just okay, not like the stringy chicken pieces it used to have. We will be sticking to China Chef from now on.
