A welcoming and very busy hostel. Better book a good week in advance. There are the great classics of Alsatian cuisine. There is an excellent hamburger with black pinot served with mudded potatoes and sauerkraut. We can do the dead end on desserts.

A hearty marcaire meal for 30 people, we have already enjoyed the peat and its crudities in the entrance followed by a smoked pallet with potato jumped and a green salad. Come with a group of 15 people for lunch. Very good reception, smiling and effective waitress, having a sense of humor. 17-euro hiking menu: soup, kassler, stirred apples, vegetables, salad and pie. Everything was delicious. Quantity and quality. Drinks at reasonable prices. We have feasted, hungry that we were after a grudge in the snow. Pleasant setting, authentic inn, I can only engender superlatives, sincere in addition. In summer, a break at the terrace is nice too. Bravo to the service staff or in the kitchen. We first started by contacting the hostel to book a table for 4 adults in the morning before our hike. phone reception not very pleasant that ends with "no blocking table for hikers after 12:30, it may be necessary to wait a bit". Anyway, we're trying our luck... we've arrived around 1:15. When we get in, it starts well, the waitress looks at her watch. Then tells us that there is no table available for the moment and that we have to wait on the terrace by drinking a drink...After 15min, another waitress comes out by announcing us "we do not brew !" then by continuing by "any way we have more table and we do not serve outside!"Result: we have refused to serve us to drink and eat, all without...
