Bahn-Täscherhof - Speisekarte

Wir haben nur das Frühstück gegessen, daher kann ich nichts zu den Menüpunkten sagen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war allerdings nicht schlecht.

Good option for a solid Swiss fare (including local alpine fish) in Taesch, at the foothills of Zermatt. Very reasonable value for money in the neighbourhood and friendly service.

Excellent Restaurant. Super good service. Ladies in the restaurant are super busy. But they give personal attention very well with every single customer. Food is also really really great

The rosti was excellent and the atmosphere was cosy on a chilly night. This hotel is located right next to the Zermat shuttle train station and has a reasonable hourly paid underground parking lot.

We were in 8 (four kids and four adults) and could find a very comfortable and cozy environment for all. We ordered individual raclette and fondues. Everything was perfect. The service was also a nice surprise. Luja (the waitress) is very gentle, happy and efficient. It was an excellent experience for all.

Last week, we have had a dinner in Tascherhof twice. They have a good and big terrace too, which you can use for having your dinner or drink(s).The dinner card is various and very good with also a lot of traditional Swiss products like cheese and meat fondue and raclette. The personel is very friendly too! For a good dinner and stay, come to hotel Tascherhof!

Ich kam zweimal hierher, einmal zum Mittagessen und ein anderes Mal zum Abendessen. Ausgezeichnete Rindfleisch- und Gemüsesuppe. Der Geruch des Huhns war großartig. Die Pilzsauce für das Steak war erstklassig. In einigen Bewertungen wurde auf die alten Möbel hingewiesen. Ich würde sagen, es ist nostalgisch mit amerikanischer Popmusik aus den 70ern. Ich würde hier wieder essen, wenn ich bei Tasch vorbeikomme.

As I was expecting to come on a late plane for Zermatt, I decided to stay in Tasch which is a few minutes away by train. I stayed at the Hotel Tascherhof and the evening meal was very good.The dinner consisted of a good salad and a speciality of the house being a very filling rosti with trimmings such as egg and bacon.All the food was very good and dinner was under 35 Swiss Francs...and excellent value for money as I also had a large beer

The place is quite dated - 1970's? Decor is throughout fairly dire.But who cares? The staff are really nice, very helpful and friendly; the location (right beside the train to Zermatt) excellent, the skiroom access to he station brilliant as is the free parking.We loved the restaurant! It's not fancy but the food and wine are great, service great and it is really good value. They'll cook you what you want! We were fed up with stodgy starchy stuff by the time we got there and they happily substituted pasta/potatoes with absolutely fantastically well cooked and varied vegetables. Pak Choi, beans, broccoli, cauliflower, heritage carrots. brilliant.Why stay in Zermatt when you can stay here? It...
