Used to be an old family favourite and this was my first visit in 20 years really delicious food and attentive and friendly service. Great for vegetarians definitely recommend the utthapam and the mixed veg kothu roti.

This restaurant with its calming ambiance, charming staff and simple but fragrant array of South Indian fare is definitely up there with one of Croydon 's best kept secrets (yes, there 's a few thank you). Had a meal by myself, ordered, starter, main meal side, and bread, and bottle of Kingfisher. The menu quoted prices of food items, but not beer. I received bill, and all food items were 50p more than advertised on menu, and beer was an eye watering £7.99! I explained how poor this was, got no real explanation. Food was great, no question, but had I known the bee was that much, I would have left, be careful.

We used to come here some years ago, but the quality of food and service deteriorated to a point where we said we wouldn't go back. So glad we did! Ate here for a family celebration. The service was thoughtful (one of the party is in his 90s) and friendly, and the food was delicious and inexpensive. A true cut above a run of the mill curry house, it has an interesting menu and all the meals tasted fresh and prepared with care.
