this was a nice, quiet place for a glass of wine or cocktail. it is located in renaissance vendome hotel. it's gone now. the bar was replaced by a very lush restaurant bar in the hotel

I loved the house Bordeaux here I hope to get my hands on some! It's a neat little bar with beautiful décor. It's small and quiet, but did the trick for a night cap in the hotel I was staying at. Speisekarte ansehen

Sometimes it is wonderful to enjoy a drink in the same hotel that they stay in the hotel was friendly and obliged- served us drinks in the lobby of an evening and the place is a bit dark for our loved ones, but still worth it in a beautiful. hotel

This is a very nice bar in the Renaissance Paris Vendome hotel. Just off to the left as soon as you enter the hotel (before reception). It is quite small intimate and offers comfortable seating in a nicely furnished (red velvet) space. The barman...mixes good cocktails a bit pricey though.

After many fine dinners on our trip, I just wanted a great cheeseburger, and this did not disappoint. The dark ambiance and well spaced tables were perfect. The wall of padded cloth keep the sound down. Would have been perfect except for the rock music,...which did not appeal to this dinosaur. Speisekarte ansehen

Very cozy little lobby bar in the Renaissance hotel. After a long day of walking around the city decided to grab a quick bite here. Service was pleasant. I had a nice chicken Caeser salad, fresh and good. Nice variety of beers. Price was reasonable,...small menu but a convenient option if you are staying at the hotel.

We arrived late in Paris from a six hour train ride from Nice. It was pouring rain and all we wanted was a quick bite before a much needed rest. This tiny bar welcomed us with its lovely Chinese décor. Subtle jazz was soothing background...music while we sipped our drinks. My husband had the Chicken Curry and I had the Penne Bolognese, both comfort food on this rainy Paris evening.

We were in Paris over Bastille Day. It was hot, humid, and most cafes were packed. We were staying at the Renaissance Paris Vendome, and walked back to the hotel around PM after looking in vain for a table at nearby cafes. We were...so glad we did. The Bar Chinois has good food, air conditioning, good views of the street, it was calm, quiet and cool. It was the perfect place to enjoy lunch in a very crowded city at a very busy time!
