"We visited on a Tuesday lunch time, following a Bank Holiday for Whitsun. On our arrival we had to wait about 15 minutes for a free table. However, the owners, Sandrine and Bertrand offered a free beer and glass of wine while we waited at the bar. Bertrand did explain that they were hosting a seniors cycling club lunch in addition to their normal 70-80 lunchtime covers. So if possible I would book, as both Sandrine and Bertrand speak English. However, if just passing visit after 13.15 to avoid waiting for a table. The meal consists of buffet starters, a choice of about 16 different products ranging between pate and raw carrot. The mains consist fried beef or boiled ham. We both chose the ham, which was presented in its cooking liquor. I chose the best field chips I had eaten in a number of years. My wife chose the boiled potatoes. We did not take the cheese course, again you take a much as you require. However, I much enjoyed the home made Apple flan and my wife much enjoyed the home made chocolate moose. Fresh strawberries were also on offer, along with about a dozen sweet choices. The meal consists free wine or cider and coffee. All this for €27! Ok the main meal whilst tasty and good did not compare with the we ate last night. But that did cost us €118, without a cheese course! In all other respects, the starters, the pudding wine and coffee were better than we ate last night! The bar is a traditional brasserie that once existed throughout France. We discovered today that it still exists Le Molay-Littry. Note. The brasserie is about 100 meters from the town centre and just after the Marie. Not as indicated on Tripadvisor map"
