"Dropped in here as they had a hamburger on the menu, supposedly. Ischia does a lot of fish dishes so I was craving some meat. Went with that and received two patties, but no bun sad face. Managed to salvage the situation slightly by...slapping the burgers and a bit of lettuce between two slices of bread, receiving some odd looks as I did so. Decent fries though. Nice desserts too. Pleasant location overlooking the small beach at San Francesco. Reasonably priced. Total bill was €42 including drinks which wasn't too bad, but note that there was a €1 cover charge per person."

"There are no words.... Actually there are plenty, but I do not have enough time to write them. On Ischia there is a mountain, at the base of that mountain you start your 40 minute climb to try to reach the top of that mountain. It is very difficult to get there. I was traveling with a Russian, German, Spanish, and Italian friends. We all decided to climb this mountain. At one point we were out of breath, I look up to the very top, and see umbrellas. I said to myself Who the hell would live up here!!!! Little did I know, it was not a residence, but a restaurant that was at the tip of the mountain top! I urged everyone to keep climbing (I mean, we came this far! and we hiked up to the restaurant. I then said to myself, Who would put a restaurant up here!!! Who does your plumbing! I never got the answers to my questions. I did however hiked up to the very top of the mountain (so scary then sat at the restaurant with an espresso, applauding myself for making it to the top in one piece. A funny note... There were three tables near the edge of the cliff to sit at that had reserved signs on them. There was nobody there but us. I said to myself Who the hell makes reservations here!!!!"

"The Aragonese restaurant is physically beautiful with rooftop views of the Aragonese Castle lit at night and amazing sea views. The food is superb because it is different than the traditional Italian cuisine that you can get anywhere it’s a gourmet experience beautifully presented with a different handcrafted ceramic plates and platters and bowls with each course. The chef’s take great pride in the food and presentation and the food and wine selection are fabulous! The service is flawless and friendly at the same time. All of the wait staff take great care of each and every customer. We ate at the Ristorante Aragonese last year and Otto (head waiter) remembered us and made us feel so welcomed back that is remarkable to remember us from one year ago ! Otto makes sure that your dining experience is unforgettable and he is top notch !! Try Ristorante Aragonese you will not be disappointed. We will be returning soon ! "We enjoy trying local places where the local people eat. We were a party of six and we had such a great time, we went back again while on our vacation. The menu is amazing. A lot of variety and everything we tried was delicious. Our waitress Luisa was the best and tried hard to explain everything to us, in English. The prices were very reasonable, we sat outside and had wonderful food. Eating here was one of the highlights of this beautiful island! A hidden gem. Hope we can visit there again!!"

"Ci siamo affidati alle recensioni di questo locale e nonostante gli orari non erano stati modificati ci siamo incamminati verso la nostra avventura. Durante il cammino usando il navigatore ha continuamente ripetuto che il locale poteva non essere aperto e giunti a destinazione abbiamo chiesto. Il personale si stava preparando, il locale era aperto ma aspettavano la consegna del pane quindi abbiamo atteso un pò fuori ma in pochissimo ci siamo accomodati all'interno e seduti sulla parte rialzata, rimane un bel terrazzino interno, tutto perfettamente arredato con stile ed attenzione ai dettagli. Il locale é molto carino ed intimo, con luci soffuse. Il personale fin da subito è stato super gentile e super disponibile. Se vuoi assaggiare le specialità dell'isola di Ischia servite in maniera sublime con tutti i gusti possibili è il posto perfetto. Tutto era ottimo compreso il vino. Super consigliato. È stata una serata meravigliosa."
