"Dropped in here as they had a hamburger on the menu, supposedly. Ischia does a lot of fish dishes so I was craving some meat. Went with that and received two patties, but no bun sad face. Managed to salvage the situation slightly by...slapping the burgers and a bit of lettuce between two slices of bread, receiving some odd looks as I did so. Decent fries though. Nice desserts too. Pleasant location overlooking the small beach at San Francesco. Reasonably priced. Total bill was €42 including drinks which wasn't too bad, but note that there was a €1 cover charge per person."

Lovely understated restaurant right on the water front. Food is a 10/10 we had the Spaghetti alla Vongole and Paccheri ai fiori di Mare. Service is also wonderful. We will be back!

Beautiful variations of pasta with seafood. We had little fried sardines, and two types of mixed seafood pasta, all delicious. Not all fresh, some seafood is frozen which is properly pointed out in the menu. The staff is very pleasant and all food that came out of the kitchen to other guests looked very appetizing.

Ristorantino delizioso a metri dall'arenile. Propongono pesce fresco e cotto molto bene. Assolutamente da provare sono gli antipasti e i paccheri con fiori di zucca, vongole e gamberetti. Personalmente poi ho provato il pesce arrosto, cotto semplicemente (in modo da sentire appieno il gusto del mare) che loro mi hanno spinato davanti agli occhi e servito insieme ad una salsina d'accompagnamento fatta da loro. Consiglio di prenotare!

"There are no words.... Actually there are plenty, but I do not have enough time to write them. On Ischia there is a mountain, at the base of that mountain you start your 40 minute climb to try to reach the top of that mountain. It is very difficult to get there. I was traveling with a Russian, German, Spanish, and Italian friends. We all decided to climb this mountain. At one point we were out of breath, I look up to the very top, and see umbrellas. I said to myself Who the hell would live up here!!!! Little did I know, it was not a residence, but a restaurant that was at the tip of the mountain top! I urged everyone to keep climbing (I mean, we came this far! and we hiked up to the restaurant. I then said to myself, Who would put a restaurant up here!!! Who does your plumbing! I never got the answers to my questions. I did however hiked up to the very top of the mountain (so scary then sat at the restaurant with an espresso, applauding myself for making it to the top in one piece. A funny note... There were three tables near the edge of the cliff to sit at that had reserved signs on them. There was nobody there but us. I said to myself Who the hell makes reservations here!!!!"

"The Aragonese restaurant is physically beautiful with rooftop views of the Aragonese Castle lit at night and amazing sea views. The food is superb because it is different than the traditional Italian cuisine that you can get anywhere it’s a gourmet experience beautifully presented with a different handcrafted ceramic plates and platters and bowls with each course. The chef’s take great pride in the food and presentation and the food and wine selection are fabulous! The service is flawless and friendly at the same time. All of the wait staff take great care of each and every customer. We ate at the Ristorante Aragonese last year and Otto (head waiter) remembered us and made us feel so welcomed back that is remarkable to remember us from one year ago ! Otto makes sure that your dining experience is unforgettable and he is top notch !! Try Ristorante Aragonese you will not be disappointed. We will be returning soon ! Ridiculously reasonable pricing! 2. SOH DELICIOUS Special mentions: My boyfriend ordered the Pistachio Pasta and it was to dieeee for! Also, the Fiori Di Zucca (courgette flowers with ricotta OWEMGE bring me back to life so I can die again . Lastly, the staff were great, all very friendly : the place is a little hidden (we took a scooter through the windy lines but it's totally worth it! In fact, the journey there kinda made it even better. 5 stars would definitely return!"

"mangiato 2 volte entrambe a pranzo. la prima volta ho preso la zingara ed era molto buona, la mia amica ha preso un panino consigliato dalla Sig.ra ed è rimasta talmente contenta che lo ha ripreso anche il giorno dopo. Al tavolo in 6 abbiamo assaggiato un po di tutto cotolette buonissime, scaloppine altrettanto, patatine fritte al top, melanzane alla parmigiana super, ma la cosa che veramente ti fa dire di tornare sono le alici fritte indorate veramente molto molto buone. Anche la pulizia del bagno al TOP"

Grigliata di calamari e gamberi di alta qualità, con insalata al fianco, stupendi !!!! Sapori ottimi, ingredienti genuini, prezzi accessibili e nella norma, ma il gusto dei cibi rende ottimo ogni scontrino, ne vale totalmente la pena."
