"I found ristorante Arca listed in the guide book L 'Espresso with a very high rating and decided to check it out. The restaurant is located in the center of Alba Adriatica on the main street which ends on the Lungomare and shares a mid block location with an enoteca of the same name. Massimiliano, the chef and his brother run a tight ship with both a seafood and terra menu. My 3 friends all tried the seafood and were blown away by the Brodetto and the baccala ' while I spoiled myself with a thinly sliced elegant pork dish with Patanegra pork from the Jamon Iberico region of Spain. I have never seen this in another restaurant in Italy, although I am sure you might find it in a starred restaurant in Milan, Rome of Florence. The service was impeccable with the chef taking everyone 's orders and answering questions or advising you on choices which will delight your palate. His brother is at the ready with a nicely selected wine list with options from around the world, but the majority from the neighboring Abruzzo vineyards. Fresh breads arrive at the table with the amuse bouche and the tranquil, simple, but elegant ambience help make for a wonderful evening!"

"After a very difficult year, we were looking for a holiday that would regenerate us especially on a mental level, and we found it here. The structure is very beautiful and comfortable, located on the hill and surrounded by greenery, from our terrace we could enjoy a wonderful view that contrasted between the sea on the horizon and the olive trees and vineyards all around. The rooms very spacious and clean. The management and staff are very friendly and accommodating in always finding an alternative. Swimming pool equipped with waterfalls and hydromassage area. The excellent cuisine. With the reservation we also had an entrance to the Spa. A structure that I recommend and will certainly keep in mind in future holidays."

"Oggi 02/06/23 a Tortoreto Lido avemo fatto 'na rimpatriata dopo ave ' trascorso ar sole l 'intera mattinata tra 'n bagno in acqua, 'n tuffo e 'na notata semo arivati all 'ora de la magnata. Tutti d 'accordo avemo deciso,lì pe ' li ', d 'acchitto de anna ' da Il Calamaro a fasse fa 'n ber fritto. Mo, all 'ingresso de sto locale ce sta scritto DA RAFFA ' VENDITORE DI SOLE E DI BUONUMORE Sur fatto de venne er sole c 'é sembrato 'n mentitore sur bonumore nun avemo avuto dubbi......é proprio 'n attore. Ma er fritto fatto da Il Calamaro é per palato 'na carezza pe ' la nostra panza 'na sicurezza e pe ' noi amici de Baga ' 'na certezza. "A cena, prenotando in anticipo, ci siamo recati sul posto, indicato con precisione per telefono, nella nuova location in collina; dopo aver trovato parcheggio tra gli alberi, accediamo ed aver fatto una piccola salita a gradini nell ' erba, ci troviamo in una panoramica terrazza coperta con una splendida vista sul mare, accompagnata da sale moderne e ricche di accoglienti tavolate. Accolti in maniera professionale ma familiare, ci accingiamo a scoprire nei menù le specialità abruzzesi che rimandano a sapori di infanzia, grazie a gustosi e genuini ingredienti locali. Bruschette a metro, che altrove chiamerebbero invece Trionfo di pane di lievito madre, affettato e biscottato alla fiamma, condito con ogni bontà , arrosticini di pecora buonissimi, salsiccia bianca arrostita alla brace, pallotte cacio e ovo, come da ricetta delle nostre nonne, birra amabilissima, vini di nome e corpo adeguati, dessert di produzione propria. Atmosfera rilassante, piacevole, panorama incantevole, conto adeguato; vale la pena fare un salto in questa che non è una semplice osteria, ma l 'officina di un vero ambasciatore della tradizione Abruzzese."
