"it's such a shame because I already wanted to try this place, and I didn't think this would be my experience. first is the paella for a person. not two! the part is small in itself. the art garnel have no taste at all. no season to taste fish. nothing. remember that this should be the “Mariscos” (seafood) paella. I tried other faux seafood in the city and never had such a taste problem. then we ordered the cheese board “3 Amigos”, which is essentially a board with three different hardened Cashew cheeses. we have 5 pieces of the same cheese and 1 piece of another. Now, I get that there is a lack of supply (I have worked in restaurants before I know how it is), but they must let the customers know that the plate is not so advertised that they can decide whether they want to order it or not. I don't think I'd have ordered the board if I knew that they'd only serve me one. it was actually “1 Amigo”. Unfortunately, I liked the one-piece cheese for me, but I liked the one we served 5 pieces. we also had problems with the sangrias. I was between two different types, so I kindly asked the waitress she recommended. she proposed a “Maracuya” and I was sold because I love passion fruit. I served something completely different. when I asked her, she told me that it was her fault that it wasn't really a passion fruit one that she served the one I served (tequila or mezcal, lime, tahin, etc. 0 correlation to passion fruit). and instead of asking me if I wanted something else, she asked if “I don’t like it”. I told her it wasn't that they were okay, but it's not what I wanted. with other words I would never have ordered this cloned version of a margarita and it was also the most expensive on the menu! I drank it because I don't like the dinge being wasted, but the way she treated the situation was terrible. at this point we were afraid to order something else, so we went."

Bubita is such a cozy place, very close to Barcelonata beach. They have an amazing Sangria menu. The tapas are delicious and the vegan paella was lip-smacking!! A funky place to grab drinks with lovely decor. Very lovely staff!

Overrated reviews. We asked for Bubita dips and they only added one bagel cut in half for dipping, which obviously was insufficient. As for the seafood board, we expected variety and something different but we only got squid and shrimpz accompanied with sauce, dried tomatos, and another bagel. Dessert was also standard. To be honest, I felt disappointed.

we visited barceloneta often, but we only discovered their amazing and beautifully presented cheeseboard during our last two trips to barcelona. at our recent visit we chose the cheeseboard, a chicken salad and a bravas, with a beer on the side. as they can see, the dishes are artistically arranged and the cheeses are so good, especially the smokey. when they visit, I recommend to them to go!

If you visit Barcelona, you must try this place ! We got paella, cheese board, olives, croquettes, gambas alioli (the best I've ever tasted, they're so amazing ! We also got some cocktails (for me they're quite strong but it was good for my guy so I guess depends your alcohol tolerance Also a few more plates I can't remember the names and we forgot to take photos of (so good Plus two desserts; tiramisu and nata con fresas (this was so delicious) The location is next to the beach but there are suddenly not good views. Easy access though. The team was very nice. Prices were a bit too high but not bad

since I read reviews like: this is the best bar ever and also those who were disappointed, I thought I wrote a review myself. we were here last night and liked the location. it is cozy and the staff was nice. eating was great, but a little pricy. although I can understand the disappointed commentary, as the seafood does not taste like sea. although the paella was still beautiful. I can very suggest the sangrias, we had two different, the spicy things and the croquettas. overall we had a great evening, good eating (although there can certainly always be improvements) and beautiful drinks. I would definitely recommend the place, but not with too high expectations like this will be just like re...
