Een aanrader. Gezellig met vrienden daar gegeten. De eend was voortreffelijk! Ook de andere gerechten die werden als heerlijk gekwalificeerd. Kinderen kunnen op trampoline, schommel spelen of tafel tennissen terwijl je aan een heerlijke wijn zit. Reserveren wel aanbevolen!

we went to my wife's birthday. a rather unfriendly greeting of the owner who took our order and forgot to ask if we wanted to weep (we got it). eating is ok, although the owner advised, they can get frying for kartoffels overpriced for average pub. Standard food. I would recommend the la dolce vita in villereal that we have eaten there in the past week and that eating was much better.

Twee jaar geleden mochten wij tijdens ons verblijf op de fantastische Bassiviere al genieten van de kookkunsten van eigenaresse Laura en de vriendelijke service van haar man Nils. Inmiddels is het restaurant ook open voor gasten van 'buiten' en dat lijkt ons meer dan terecht! Vriendelijke persoonlijke bediening, een gevarieerde kwalitatieve kaart vol spannende smaak combinaties en heerlijke gerechten. Dit samen met de heerlijke wijnen, de vriendelijke prijsstelling, stijlvolle inrichting en de geweldige locatie maken dit restaurant toch wel een 'must see' voor mensen die in de buurt verblijven! Vergeet niet te reserveren want het zit goed vol! Smakelijk!

I lunched here recently with friends had seen it often from the road and was interested to give it a try. Checked the website beforehand and it said lunch cost 22.50€ which is quite expensive for the area assumed that covered the normal...entrée/plat/dessert. Arrived to discover that all we 'd get for that was a small bowl of soup, a 'sharing platter ' and a dish of the day (which in fact arrived as part of the sharing platter, along with a separate dish of salad). No dessert, though they have now added this fact to the webpage together with a description of their lunch offer as 'lunch tasting ' which just about sums it up as it 's certainly not a proper lunch. Lunched here with 9 friends- pre booked the table. Arrived to find they had not made up a table. Got this sorted, then were shocked to be told no dessert included in the 22.5 Euro price. Pointed out , politely that the web site said... menu for 22.5, and in France this means starter, main and dessert . We asked if at least an icecream could be given as a gesture of good will as there had been a genuine misunderstanding- only to be very rudely accused of threatening behaviour we were a group of over 60 's ladies! and that she had to make a profit. . There are two essential criteria that any restaurant should provide, excellent food and good service. This restaurant failed to deliver both. We were a large party and although we had confirmed, they did not have a table ready for us, this was eventually resolved. In...receiving the menus we then discovered that our fixed price menu did not include a dessert (normal practice in most parts of this area of France) we explained that it did not state that on the website the reaction by the Manager of the restaurant was the worst I have ever seen.
