I got the biggest meal I have ever had in my life, and it was fab. There were 6 of us and had we only ordered 3 meals we still wouldn't have finished it all!! Delicious Sauer kraft...it's a must try.

or.. a wonder bar!... A review of the beer only. There's not many places around here that serve good beer and this is one of the few . Reasonable prices.. 4 main styles to choose from, brewed in house. Long may it survive!! If you like your good quality keg beer, this is the place to go to.

I never really thought about German food, I thought nothing special. how wrong could I be. I'm converted. Been here twice now. Had the schnitzel and then the leberkase. De Bassus Restaurant serve a big variety of German meals, they brew German Beer in house and have a very good selection of beers. The last two times I was there I had Schweinebraten with Knoodl and suarkraut, (Roast Pork with dumpling). Grilled Garnellen. Both meals were delicious. It can get noisy in the evenings, especially during October Fest time.

A very nice restaurant with lots of food choice and great german beer which they apparently brew on site.I had ribs which i would say is probably the nicest I've ever had.Pork medallions were also lovely and the sausages we had were also good of which they do a variety of,mash potatoes and sour kraut also gorgeous.service was excellent and would really recommend

Our second time we came, it was a mistake to order anything other than sausages, bratwurst, frankfurter, etc., etc. soft beef goulash and the oily german paste. hard lamb goulash and mild sauce, the german goulash It is tastier and more powerful.
