"Myself and my Mom popped in today for a light lunch. We haven’t been in a while but the transformation from coffee lounge to restaurant is fantastic. Lovely and spacious with beautiful views through beautiful, large windows. The food was beautiful and fresh and customer service was excellent. Tom came over to ask us how we were enjoying our food and gave us so much information about where their meat fish is sourced, also explaining how the food changes daily as they serve seasonal produce. Such a refreshing change to speak to somebody who is clearly very passionate about providing customers with high quality, locally sourced food. Even the artwork on the walls was painted by a local artist. We will definitely be returning to sample your dinner menu and Sunday roast. We paid a visit to the Farm Shop before returning home where we were greeted with a massive, cheerful “hello” and a beaming smile from behind the meat counter. We couldn’t resist the rib eye steak and pork belly. The latter is now cooking nicely in the oven verdict to follow . Thank you for making our day so enjoyable."

"My daughter and I visited this establishment for breakfast. In a past life it was a takeaway sandwich establishment, and to a large extent it still is but of a very high standard. We both had the Full English Breakfast Board which consists of a large Lashford sausage, Bromsgrove bacon, Black pudding (not for either of us), Free Range Eggs, Tomatoes, baked beans, mushrooms , toast and butter. I had an Americana and my daughter a tea. The food was excellent. Looking at the menu, the pricefor the breakfast was £8.95 which by today's standard is quite expensive, with the coffee at £2.25, and tyhe tea at £1.60. When we came to pay we were informed that there was a surcharge of 20% as we had eaten in. This was not told to us when ordering. The total bill which as far as we were concerned was £21.75 climbed to a dizzy £26.10. Some price for a lovely breakfast but sat on metal chairs in a tiny unit. I found the breakfast to be one of the best that I have had in years, but the price a bit steep and the lack of clarity re pricing annoying."

"This is a delightful café that welcomes dogs and offers a variety of vegetarian options. The Turkish influence is very charming. The sandwiches and paninis are top-notch, but the cakes steal the show. Many of the cakes are freshly baked on-site. They also serve a wide variety of large coffees. If you find yourself in Knowle, be sure to check out this place."

"we went only for the second time in two years last night and the incredibly friendly staff let us feel like normal customers. service was excellent, the staff went out of the way for us, and eating was delicious unique aromas, and well presented, they even gave us a free beside dish. like the last time we went to meriden spice, we wanted a nice dinner before a concert in the genting arena (only 12 minutes away) and after our previous great experience this was not disappointed. our friends also enjoyed it. we traveled more than 50 miles for the concert, but we would travel happily that only for this curry it is so good. we cannot recommend meriden spice very."
