We started with a prawn cocktail accompanied by warm onion bread, and for the main course, I enjoyed an exquisite ribeye served with homemade chips and the most delightful peppercorn sauce. with the 2 dogs, my wife 1 sat outside on the way back from the coast, we both had the steak-pie chips with a pint to wash it, good as ever. the two dogs had a venison sausage. highly recommended.

This charming old restaurant offers absolutely delicious food. I skipped dessert this time, but they looked wonderful. It was quite busy, so we needed to make a reservation. I will definitely return!

What people are saying about this place is spot on! The food is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. The pictures don't do the food justice, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Please note that they don't accept American Express, but they do have baby changing facilities and high chairs available. It's a good idea to make a reservation, as it was quite busy on a Monday afternoon.
