"It is not the first time I top for lunch ,at this authentic Korean restaurant. Laurent, the owner, married to Korean lady, after several years in trading in Korean grocery and drinks, partnered with the Korean restaurant chain BEKSEJU, and opened , few years ago, the first restaurant in this neighborhood ,at the limit of the 13th district ( famous for its Chinatown}, and the 5th district, land of students and universities....3 native chefs are working here, to prepare all the tempting dishes exposed on the well illustrated menu…The staff is also Korean, dressed in traditional clothes. The girls have smiles as tempting as the dishes they are bringing....The decor is minimalistic, wood and stone dominants.Everything is delicious, portions are generous. Laurent and his staff will patiently give you all explanations to help you chose. The best option, when you are 3 or 4, is to order different dishes, and share all. Be careful with the spices though. if you are sensitive to hot pepper. Ask for the dishes that have moderate or one.One of my favourites is the Bulgogi, or the grilled marinated pork with vegetables and rice, and the thin galette( pancake style) stuffed with seafood, All lunch menu sets (13-15 eur ) come with a nicely presented assortment of 3 starters,To go with all this variety of exotic tastes, try the BekSeJu ( you may live hundred years, as per the Baekseju legend. But obviously one bottle would not be enough to guarantee you eternity ). There is also a large choice of traditional fermented rice drinks ( different from the japanese Sake ), and beers. You may not live 100 years, but you may drench your thirst. If you are visiting the Jardin des Plantes, or the Mosquée de Paris, or having to do at The Gare d'Austerlitz, think of this unique Korean table ), be sure to try this"
