"It was 2 degrees outside, and about 10 degrees inside. I asked why it was so cold and was told the heating was broken. This should have been explained when we entered. Most people inside we wearing coats. the service was also very slow. That didn 't bother me too much until the end when we were still sitting there with plates around us and no offer of a desert menu. I asked for the bill and at the same time explained my thoughts on our evening there and that I felt the poor service and faulty heating should be reflected in our bill. 10 mins later I was told that they won 't be reducing our bill. I said ok, please give me your managers name and I will take it up with your head office. He then came back with the bill with a deduction of £5 for which he said I will get this in the neck later for giving me a deduction. £5 off of a bill for £90 is bare minimum and then the unnecessary guilt trip. This restaurant has a major problem, evidenced by the recent reviews on here. The food has definitely gone down hill and the service is frustratingly bad because it 's such basic things they are getting wrong."

The restaurant had some original menu options that tasted homemade and delicious. The only downside was that the dishes were a bit too salty for my liking. Next time, I will request a meal with reduced salt.

I went here with my Sister and her husband for an early evening meal and quite frankly it was rubbish. Ignoring the fact that it was quite chilly in there and the lighting was far too bright and overpowering, the food was abysmal.

Was extremely busy when we arrived at 7pm. They found us a table quickly and the service was good and very quick considering how busy it was! Would definitely recommend if they can get it right like this in a busy Saturday night they must be great all the time.

Upon entering the restaurant, we were impressed with the layout and style. Once seated in a cosy booth, we glanced through the menu, impressed with the vast selection of dishes and drinks. The drinks were mostly brilliant, the only exception being the limoncello being served in a shot glass, meaning we needed to order lemonade as it was strong. This noteably did not detract from the experience. The starters were fantastic; great flavours, serving size and selection. Our mains offered a generous portion but not too heavy, also very tasty. I have had some bad experiences at chain restaurants before but thought I would give the new Bella Italia in Huntingdon a chance. We visited on a Tuesday, the restaurant was around half full and has a lovely decor. Service was great, the staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a few hiccups with our bill but as with any new restaurant, new staff will need time to learn.The food was fresh, delicious and great value. I had a lasagne, my partner an autumn pasta special and we shared a garlic bread, all were cooked perfectly and we had no complaints. Overall we had a very good experience and will be returning.
