"After we have booked through the opentable app for 18.45 clock, we actually arrived at over 45 minutes early, but it was not a problem for the staff and we were sitting fast. the starters arrived soon after ordering and were very nice. for the net we had made the burgers and 2 of our party requested well, and the third was a regularly cooked burger, in contrast to some restaurants that cannot differentiate and cook as they were the burgers to this occasion were served exactly as we requested. we have shown on a NEC show, so it is regrettable that we are continuing from soihull."

"This is one of my favourite curry houses in Solihull. Set in a lovely old building, the tables packed in so they can cater for large numbers but also spaced so they can also offer lots of 2’s and 4’s. The staff are really attentive and very efficient in getting your meal delivered in a timely manner. The menu is varied and there’s some really good specials including my favourite the Punjabi Murgh Massala. It’s quite essential to book but it’s easy to do via the website. Both Cobra and Kingfisher beers on tap."

"We booked Jilabi last minute to host a 40th birthday party for 25 family members. We were allocated a private function room and given support in planning the menu to meet the needs of our party. From start to finish we experienced tasty food but the customer service was certainly amongst the best we have ever experienced. Unfortunately the cake that we had purchased had been left out of the fridge (error on our part) and collapsed as soon as the waiters were due to bring it in. The workers discreetly notified us and arranged a similar cake from the same cake shop in such a short amount of time. After our mains came the freebies that we hadn’t requested but were provided complimentary by the restaurant. First came chocolate cake with ice cream and fresh Indian sweets. Then came a mock tail that was absolutely delicious. They then served us huge fresh fruit platters followed by our choice of tea or coffee. We paid a modest bill for this exceptional meal and will be sure to attend again in the future."

"Hidden away on a main street, you could almost miss one of the best Indian restaurants in Solihull. No photos, food was too good to spend time taking photos of it....had poppadoms and extensive chutney tray, shared starter, onion bhajis, for the main we shared a coconut rice, amazing pashwari naan, I had lamb sookha bhuna and the mrs had a veg korma. The lamb was tender and tasty with just the right amount of kick! We had the upstairs dining area to ourselves, downstairs was heaving. The shiraz went down very nicely, there is also a very popular rioja. Say hi to the very friendly staff. Vegetarian options: Any meal has a veggie option."

"We booked by telephone after leaving a voicemail message... they call back and confirmed they could fit us in for a table of 9.. the waiter suggested we all have a mix tandor. Starter... assume this wpuld make it easy for the kitchen even thou the place was less than 1/2 full.... The starters where very nice... no probs.... Then the main course... everyone thought the food was very bland no spice or flavor to the meals... being the brave fool I wanted to send my meal back as I had selected a spicy kabab from the Cheifs special menu... so I expected some spicy and a bit of taste... both of which where lacking... I tried to get a watiers attention for 5 mins... and no one aas maming sure the table was happy... the only way I got attention was to phone from the table to ask for a waiter.... !!!!... never had to do that before... sent my meal back reordered a Balti of which they just made HOT probs to teach a customer who had dared to complain.. Never going back which is a shame as I entertain at least 5 or 6 customers every month.... too much goid food on offer in the area to go through that again....."
