"Recently visited for the 1st time to celebrate our 14th anniversary together. Everything about our experience was amazing, everyone was kind and attentive, food was absolutely out of this world (my partner especially loved the home made bread) non of that annoying asking how the meal was right in the middle of a mouthful which was great . What a delight. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Food was authentic and clean , and very fresh. Nice buzz in the restaurant so you could talk without worrying about being overhead, whilst not having to try and talk above the background noise. Perfect. Will definitely go back. Superb restaurant.Went on a Friday night, great atmosphere, really buzzy. They have one of those menus where you want to try everything. The food was well above expectation. "While staying nearby for a few days, we received a recommendation to dine at The Swan. Despite the rainy weather, we booked a table for lunch on Sunday and went for a scenic walk from Pershore to work up an appetite. The pub was cozy and inviting, as were the staff. Even though we were in wellies and a bit damp, we were welcomed into the restaurant where we dried off and enjoyed a fantastic lunch. The place was packed, which is no surprise given the delicious food and excellent service. The outdoor garden booths looked charming, even though they were empty that day. I ordered the large fish and chips, which was perfectly cooked and not greasy, while my companion enjoyed the tasty mixed grill. The chocolate mousse dessert was rich and satisfying, especially the accompanying shortbread biscuit. We had a great meal and will definitely return if we are in the area again. "I went to have lunch with my friend today. The pub is amazing as is the beautiful view of the river and garden which we will sit in when the rain finally decides to stop. Lovely friendly greeting when we first arrived. Brunch was absolutely delicious and their triple cooked chips sensational. Both the lady who served our drinks and food were super polite with big smiles and pleasant manner. What a delight. We shall be going again and recommend people doing the same. "We went to this restaurant for Mother's Day and had a fantastic experience. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff, and the food was excellent. "We turned up mid lunch service with 2 hungry children and a dog. The car park was packed yet we still decided to give it a go and try our luck. When I walked in it was packed and I spoke to an incredibly polite young lady at the door who stopped what she was doing to greet me and happily said we could have a table in the garden which was perfect for us with the dog. Came in to get some drinks and order our food and again despite them all being busy and rushed off their feet the service was friendly and polite. The lady serving us advised about the wait of about half an hour food, so I paid and took our seats in the garden. I was slightly worried about the 30 minute wait as I had two hungry children yet after only about 15/20 mins we were told we could get our food. Well what can I say about the food..I would have waited an hour for it. A beautiful piece of beef, more vegetables than you could ask for and gravy. This was just what was needed after a morning of walking in the Gloucestershire countryside. Great service and great food and a very reasonable price as well. Can’t wait to go back."

"I am like the superfan of my local chippy in newlands. on Monday, the doors are open and business after the very, very, long Kovid restrictions. it was nice to see people back in the load. personally, I will hold to the pre-order slot and pick up from the window.
